It is very common nowadays to hear those people who are dedicated to personal development and positive living say that we must shine, these architects of personal development focus on how you should be positive, develop your self-esteem, grow inwardly from the intellectual and especially give you keys to be a person sure of yourself. However, these tips that are very useful to strengthen the personality never mention a very important point and for me the essential that is found in the shine without turning off others.

We forget that the brightness, that which comes from our inner being is strong enough to be with us if we know how to keep it, it is not necessary for others to turn off so that others can see our light. That which originates in our thoughts and positive energy that emerges from our heart and the love we have to give, that light that is our soul smiling in joy needs the light of others, of all people, creatures and living beings that inhabit the planet and are part of the stardust particles of the universe.

There are those who think that in order to shine they must turn off the light of those around them and that is nothing more than a selfish act where everything ends in absolute destruction. To extinguish others means bad actions where we are filling ourselves with darkness.
