Application for Steem Representative 2025 & Booming

Hi steemit team,

Sequel to the advertorial made on the steemitblog on the 6th May 2025 for Steem Reps & Booming application, it is my desire to tender my resume as required for this application. My application post would be in line with the stipulated guidelines.

Active on the platform for at least the past 6 months

I joined the steemit platform on the 6th day of November 2020, and by that exact day this year, I should be 5 years old on the platform. Since joining the system, I have remained active without any form of gaps(inactivity). This is over four (4) years of hard work, commitment, and support to all and sundry.

I have remained committed with intentions to reach out and support all within my space irrespective of color and race, and most importantly, putting all hosted projects engineered by the team in the forefront. The testament of this resilience strides could be evident in my active roles in some of the communities in which I am administratively active.

Not forgetting my active roles in other communities through engagements and mentorship across lines, this experience has earned me valuable friendships. It is ideal that we actively build organic support, void of sentiments and regional lines. This I have advocated in my little space.

A reputation of at least 70

I find myself also suitable for this guideline. At the time of this post, my reputation is 75.407.

Have a CSI and voting pattern that demonstrates that they are already supporting other Steemians across the platform.

My CSI is an indication of my support for other Steemians on the platform. At the time of making this post, my CSI is 12.9. This simply shows my even support across different communities without having to concentrate on my home zone. I have also ensured that I do not indulge in self-voting, which the team views as a system cheat.

Steem Power Value

My steem power in the platform as of posting is 12,737.48, which is also more than the minimum threshold required for this application.

From the breakdown, it is observed that there are delegations made, and these were done to support the communities and users who needed this to thrive at that time. These users were new users who needed the minimum SP value to start blogging.

I am a keen believer in this platform without any doubt of blogging growth, hence my zeal to be focused on the path of expanding my steem power over time.

You should also say, in no more than 200 words, why you think you would make a good Steem representative.

There is no doubt that an active system age brings about experience and know-how to handle the different concerns of it. I will make a good Steem Rep given my wealth of experience in steemit, given my interactions and other necessary engagements that positively affect both existing and newbies therein.

My role when I was a Greeter (the year 2021) in the newcomers community exposed me to the basic knowledge on how best to mentor, guide, and make a newbie continue in the system, to have a sense of responsibility in the system. This has been evident in my creation of a learning centre in my country where we learn and guide users (both old and new) on our best to navigate through the platform.

I have also been selected as one of the teacher/instructors to handle the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 20, where my primary place of selection was agriculture. This experience also widened my scope of understanding through accessing different content publications. This also shaped my ability to detect and flag plagiarized and AI-ridden content.

I have also acquired experience in community and platform management as a community administrator. I am presently the lead admin in my country (Nigeria_steem4nigeria), the largest concentration of bloggers on the continent, as well as an admin in steemagro (a hub of all agricultural activities). Effective management of these communities has brought about so much capacity to handle larger groups irrespective of diverse differences.

The planning and execution of the first-ever national meetup in the country in 2024 was a testament to the needed capacity to actively promote, enlighten, and engage users of the platform and prospects in a good light. It has ever been my motive to serve rightly and help others on the platform, and continuing this as a steem-rep would help bring the needed additions and growth in steemit..

Conclusion

If allowed to serve in this capacity, I will do the job effectively & efficiently to move the steemit platform forward with my experience thus far, by guiding users irrespective of their country, allowing them to have a better understanding and knowledge of steemit.

If given the chance to serve as a steem-rep, I am certain to deliver on all KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
