Contest: Life in Summer Season

My favourite season is summer, I believe there are many who love summer because of a lot of activities we can do outside. In general I love hot weather when we can easier go out any time and we do not need to put on so many warm clothes. When I was a child I always thought that all winter clothes are so heavy and I was very quickly tired, but now I believe the reason was just lack of sunshine and fresh air. So summer for me means being outside, play with friends, play with water and stay longer outside because it is getting dark much later than in winter.
My favourite food in hot summer day is Pizza with cold icy coke, that is magic combination and made me always happy when I was a child but it remained the same now when I am grown up. Actually another favourite food that we enjoy in summer is grill some nice marinated meat, vegetables and we do add fresh salads, tomatoes, potato salads and also have cold drinks, usually that is something we do in the afternoon so that the evening can go and we can continue grilling as long as we want to sit outside.
There are many good things that I love about summer:
long days, w hen sun raise is very early like at 4AM it is starting to get lighter. If the weather is warm I love to sit on the steps in front of my house and watch how sun is slowly coming out behind horizon, that is magic moment
I love the fact that we do not need to wear heavy clothes and just some light dress and light shoes and I feel like I am weightless and can fly
I love that the tress around are all green and I love to listen to the sound of wind blowing through leaves
I love summer rain, the sound of it through open window allow me to fall asleep easier
I love all the fruits and vegetables that we have in summer
There is nothing that I dislike in this season.
When I was about 6 years old me and my parents went to Italy and it was a trip with out car. I remember the time how we were packing the car with all necessary stuff and I wanted to take majority of my toys. I remember how I have hidden them under the seat but when my mother found them she was just laughing, saying: “Are you going to take all the toys that we have at home?”
We stayed on special motorhome place and I met many kids who we become good friends too. Usually midday we were allowed to go to ice-cream van and buy one ice-cream a day, that is why for me summer is always associates with ice-cream.
