In my opinion, it's a very good painting.

Thank you, that is very kind of you. I wasn't that satisfied since the first try was better but here I could use the colour pencils for the sky and the stems of the flowers. Never did this before. You can give it a try as well. It's all the cheap material I once bought for the children at school. It was ordered by school but it's rarely used. Kind of painful. I don't like to waste money or material.
Did you try to paint?

Hi @wakeupkitty sorry to knock you. I hope you will be well and good. I invite you to become sponsor in the #SPUD4STEEM event:

I will have a look what it is, but noticed you asked many to sponsor.

I love this art work, I mean the color painting but the second to the last picture (the sanke) gave me a goosebumps. I hate seeing that creature even on the TV.

Thanks for inviting me.

You can paint your nails so I assume you can start an ugly sketchbook too. I must say it works wonderwell. If it's ugly or not as good as thought I can say: mission completed. LOL

It's watercolour paint, a cheap box and one brush does the trick... for the flowers I dip/pat with the side of the brush. It goes fast unlike colouring (books) and what I did today. Another great thing is you can paint a page red, black or green and leave it that way or dot a bit, or add some stripes and because the notebook is small it can be done everywhere.

It would be cool if you join too.

Your paintings are so good!
Now I see why it was so easy for you to create that unique drawing—I’ve forgotten what you called it, but I remember you once shared some YouTube videos for beginners.

I love how you were able to play with colors to put up “the flower image”

The snake drawing really showed that you have graduated from amateur to professional when it comes to using pencils.

That's very kind of you but I rarely sketch or draw. I am not good at it and easier pick up a pencil. Painting is done quickly especially in a notebook because the paper isn't too big and I can keep it on my lap.

How are you doing? More relaxed? Fewer time to nap at work?

Happy (2nd) Easter Day!

I don't know what those pictures are. Maybe someone whose more into arts would find something to say about them.

How about joining the photo diary contest? You can build your (imaginary) day with photos you took (old ones are allowed) and a minimum of text.

Sc02 hopped by for extra rewards of participants. Give it a try the minimum is 6 photos, a bit artistic, close ups are welcome + an original title (how about: wakeupkitty forced me to take photos! 🤣)

hahahaha.. you made me laugh.. I just noticed now while writing this comment that you received an upvote on it too..
I guess somebody enjoys when you tell me about a photo contest. Because, you know that I don't prefer them. But, I would make a conversation out of it.
LOL

Then we talk if you don't like to share a few photos or should I borrow you 6? I noticed too, that someone likes what is said. Let's keep that in mind and continue commenting.

I like this ,a brush is a brush, the artist is the one who leaves his mark on the works, what he uses is his choice.

Painting without a brush is also an option.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you had a relaxed holiday.
