Electric Installations
Hello Steemit friends! I hope you are well and happy, as for me I am good by the Grace of God.
Today I will share with you the electric wire installations I did with my colleagues, my friend Ruel taught me this skill and I harsen it by watching video tutorials. At the start of my electric wire installer career, Ruel took me anywhere he had project and taught me the basics in Electric installations. I was afraid of the electricity but because of him, I learned how to handle it properly and now I have the courage and confidence in my work.
The second week of my on the job training, his cousin, Arman who is also an electric wire installer was with me, we got along so well because he was my classmate in High school and I learned a lot from him as well.
Installing electric wires includes digging for the post installment, welding for the ladder and the most important skill is to know how electricity and electric accessories work. and to me the most painful experience is working overhead without proper platform to stand on because it woudl literally hurt the shoulders and arms.
Here are random shots while at my work.
Me and Arman working on a wiring system on Foronda's house.
Me and Ruel working on Wire post, This includes digging hole welding some rebars on the post so we could step on them, planting the post, concreting the base and let it dry.
In order to provide neat wiring systems, we need to keep the wired on the ceiling which means our work is very hot because we have to work near the roof and oftentimes, we work from 9 am to 3 pm which is very hot.
My sweat were dripping like crazy in this picture
The orange tube is what we use to keep the wires safe from heat and from rat bites.
Working wit Ruel had also some advantage, one day, I was able to fix our washing machine when it got grounded due to a torn hose hat go the wires wet. and I was able to fix them without testers.
Sneak peek of our work
Ruel got tired and sat on the floor after a few hours of working on wires.
Me while working on an outlet
After a few weeks of working, we finally got the chandeliers to light on and they look sunning! I am proud me and my team for achieving this.

Good to see you do electrical installations. When I first learnt this type of skill from my neighbour, I felt it. The joy of acquiring knowledge and seeing your hardwork reflect gives maximum joy. This is my first time hearing wires can actually pass through the orange tubes in your picture. This type of chandelier bulbs are exclusive. How much is it purchased in your country? You can use the #electric tag for this post.
Thanks for the suggestion regarding the hashtag to be used. I don't know about the chandelier and price because the owner bought it himself.
How do you protect your wires in your country if not with the use of the orange tubes ?
