Dear @Dayleeo // 7th November 2k18 // money eventually got me outta bed this morning.
It’s now 07:11am — I’ve been up since I’d say around 5:30am I guess but I didn’t move from bed, I have to start getting up at this time thou, it’s a great time to crunch a lot of work or just organise things — in the end my first week pay got me outta bed to ‘move all the things’ — I got the frame.io sub, sent you a bunch, adjusted the figures, moved some funds across for the biza pickup and enough for breakfast this morning.

actually as far as timing goes this should work out pretty good actually, it normally takes me a good thirty minutes or more to get my words outta my head and down on the computer and then the gif search and such like, it’s a process you know, you have to step up to it and be accountable for it — just realised however I’ve started this with no re-up on the water so I gotta do that first, I’m outta coffee so no coffee straight away, maybe with a breakfast eh in oh let’s say an hour? :)
Felt good this morning to get up and see that there, that’s the first time I’ve had an amount like that in a while that was over my ‘auto processing’ target so I only had to do minimal logistics — yet it opens up so much, glad to have a little resolution midweek, feels like a middle of the month payout, man, gotta get those weekly activators, can be just happy with mid month and end of month.
no wonder people chase down that daily payment level, personally I gotta have the balance otherwise I fall into the junk ‘project’ trap of convincing myself something will be awesome and then never following through — maybe the restraint is backwards and a self hindering cycle but I think I’m further along than I’ve ever been — I’m trying to purchase time for myself and others around me, it’s the only constant.
Ha! I know Wednesday is YOUR DAY, I know you love to cook and you’ll be all in with the kitchen on super warms and such like today, that lasagna sounds super legit especially in this season, I mean butternut squash life thou, that sounds super fall like yumminess and I know you’ll crush whatever BAR you go for as well, those last week looked great, shame they only kept you going for a few hours thou, yeah you definitely gotta lock that down, also, get 2/3 almond milk today (don’t forget!)
Yeah don’t stress too much about positively negative today, we will get it done if the momentum is right, if not, we won’t, but we can try, I wanna talk about steemfest being on, switching up our other podcast, the frame.io stuff that’s got me real excited right now, stuff like that, so bring your own ideas about positive and negative you wanna add this week as well while your out on your travels.
I’ve been taking a ‘slow week’ so far if truth be know, I’ll get it done when I get it done is my thinking but also knowing that I only need to spend five hours of my time in this whole week on client stuff to help me ‘tick’ over to the next week is FIRE, I mean I’ve been so lean on the month that when it comes to the end of the month it’s always a big push so it’s nice to have some wake up and get shit done energy — it’s a slow start but it’s building up, just about changing the relationship with the time.
I think I had too many background threads running for no reason, hung mental processes if you will, unneeded, old logic — takes a while to do a hard reset when most of the time you just push that stuff to the side like a soft reset knowing you have to look at it sometime. I’m glad to flip it around to something that makes me more productive again and allows me to get back to the root of why I started in the first place, you can get really lost in mist of it all for no reason.
It’s still early November, I know my work rate when I go in on something, it could still be quite easy for me to look at the current state of affairs with all the little projects and still make headway before december rocks on in, I’ve certainly got plans for that in a similar vein to videos I was making on steemit it in the first year, I need to map it out thou, I’m hoping I can get a few people to take part in this years as well, might make the discord hop a little better than it has this year ;)
the whole ‘if you don’t feel like working’ thing isn’t really about avoiding the work, I’ve known you had times when you were just overloaded with trying to micro manage people who wanted everything but didn’t even know where to start and then expected you to know, sometimes you have to down tools so that they see your not there for them to reboot and come back at it a different way the next day — especially with the social capital you have in that business, they know you move product once your design work is allowed to breath and get on point.
I prefer to have it all prepped out, what’s the start, middle and end look like, what’s gonna happen along the way, how will it get adjusted and how will I account for that in terms of time I’ll spend on it (not just financial, totally mental processing too) — I know your the same with the meal prep and to some degree your clients but for me I need like a running jump at it, I’m like the kid who spends HOURS on the long jump keep running into the bar or messing up the strides but then eventually when I nail it. I nail it. OH!

Yeah, your yoga return is a blessing for sure, I’m pumped you have your mobility back — I think it’s all linked thou, the food stuffs, the supplements, the regular (sometimes maybe feeling linear) operation of the day, it can be frustrating to just step through and become boring but once you start to see results especially ones that actually effect your day to day health it’s such a game changer — keep going, but also go steady, don’t over do it, give ya body a day either side to repair if your going in on a hardcore pose.
Well, it’s coming up to twenty to the hour, time for me to get that early breakfast in and know that I’ve packaged and sent you the blog already, what I would normally do over breakfast I can now just sit with my notepad and map out the day with a pen and paper — I fricking love that, don’t you?
Right, time to get more water down me, get some level of clothes on, find all the gifs, post this and then map out my morning, I think this wednesday could be a productive one, just gotta decide on the ordering! :)
