Greetings and blessings my pastries chefs

Assalam o alaikum friends welcome to my blog in week 5 in Bakery course,this week lesson we explored the crunchy cookies recipe along with detailed about types of cookies,tips and techniques for making perfect shaped cookies and complete detailed recipe how to make tamping biscuits easily at home ,so guys with out ado I am let's starting my blog and submit below my home assignment with my delicious cookies turned out results 🍪🍪....

What do they usually call these cookies in your country? Have you ever made "Pasta Seca" cookies? Tell us about your experience.

Well guys I am from Pakistan in my country people are liked baked cookies and called according to the ingredients that present in dry paste biscuits like if biscuits had peanut it's called peanut biscuits,many varieties commonly enjoyed by us our local cookies called Naan khatai the basic cookies which having butter ,sugar and all purpose floor and egg yolk brush on top the yummy golden colour cookies most popular traditional biscuits ever in Pakistan.Its also Similar like dry paste biscuits.

Yes I bakes many time dry paste biscuits at home in different styles and shaped ,the traditional naan khatai cookies made by hands give shaped gently by hands and made it round .
I also made cookies last year on Christmas so according to the event I given different shapes to my cookies like santa shoes ,Christmas tree and made coloured jelly jel to gave them colours like red ,green ,white on top I share here some beautiful memories of baking with you guys 💖. Fortunately I am always got marvelous results and many appreciation from my family and friends just like you all 😘😘.

Make "Dry Pasta" type cookies. You can follow the recipe presented in this course or the recipe of your choice (details utensils, ingredients and step by step).

Well guys today I love to followed the recipe that given in course but the making process of biscuits done by me with cookies cutter not by noon piping bag, other wise all ingredients and process were same same ,so guys by first I share ingredients and utensils used in baking process .

Ingredients list
All purpose flour 200 gm
Butter 150 gm
Cornflour 50 gm
One egg
Pinch of salt
Vanilla essence 1 tbs
Powder sugar 150 gm

Utensils we used
Electric beater
Measuring cups
Cookies cutter
Spetulla
Bowl
Baking trey
Containers
Serving tray
Strainer

How I made step by step

Step :1

In first I added power surge and butter in a bowl and mixed it well by the help of spetulla, before intergradeted 🥣 sugar and butter made sure both were at room temperature.

Step : 2

No it's time to beaten then ,I used electric beater for that beat the sugar butter mixture for one minute on low speed till you got nice and fluffy creamy texture of both then added egg ,pinch of salt and few drops of vanilla essence and again beaten up for 2 minutes .Now this stage now i.addwd all-purpose flour and cornflour one by one and mixed it by envelopeing method by spetulla but don't over mixed , gently incorporate the ingredients then rest it for while in cool place for 10 minutes.

Now I used cookies making for that used cookies cutter for that I had different shaped cutters like heart ,star ,round and floral so I put the dry paste in cutters and formed easily shaped as I wants to give my biscuits in quick and easy way.Thwn put in pre heated oven / pen for 10 to 15 Don't forgot to covered the led of pan of you baked in pan like me .

Before baking cookies I like to put on top different items like sprinkle,Choco chips , coconut dust and apple jam that were made by me in previous last I can understand how I made in gif form then.kept in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Final presentation

After 15 minutes the tamping fresh aroma spreading out from my kitchen I checked the cookies the edges were brown so it means it's done so leaved it on trey for 30 minutes let it completely cool then served it .

Tadaa...... The final results of my biscuits please comment me how my cookies turned out ,it's really crunchy and delicious as always😋 🤤

Tips for making dry paste type biscuits

  • The ingredients must be at room temperature.

  • For soft and yummy biscuits make sure to avoid the cookies mixture over mixed the dough, fold it like envelope from spetulla.

  • When your dough is ready kept in fridge for at least 30 minutes.

  • Preheated the oven before baking and baked biscuits on low to medium flam not too high other wise it might be burnt or over cooked .

  • When the edges are golden it's indicates that cookies are done .

Not really but I love to make this time dry paste biscuits from piping bag unfortunately this time I don't have that other wise the whole process easily done and my kids too much glad because after long time I baked cookies for them so thanks to Steemit learning challenge who comeback me towards baking and yes off cause my lovely teachers thanks for everything thing they did .

For baking some utensils are very essential like measuring scale , thermometer and good oven ,the basic tool help out for perfect and good baking,near future I will buy these tool .

If you had to choose a drink between "coffee, chocolate and tea" to accompany your "Pasta Seca" type cookies, which would it be? Present your choice showing how you would enjoy both ingredients together.

Well the best couple seems to be in my eyes withy yummy cookies the one and only my Hot strong milk tea. Specially in winters the best evening time snacks and fantastic solution for me to gave my kids in there school lunch boxes ,Home made cookies are very economical ,fresh and bakes super hygiene kitchen of your home ,my sons liked chocolate chip cookies when they were watching movies so the next target may be this ........

I love how you presented the post… especially with the short “gif”, you did. It made it easy to understand what you were trying to do at that particular moment.

I just wanted to ask a question: is there an alternative that someone can use to bake their cookies especially for those of us who don’t have oven in there house??

Yes dear I used alternative for baking purpose this time ,used pan not oven .Put iron stand on middle of pan on medium flam.The results will same .I made cookies in pan
