Spikey Saga 10 - End or New Beginning?

in #steemmakers6 years ago (edited)

Time passed by and everything settled in our Gallery. Everybody was happy in their own little bubbles.

Spikey was enjoying her reign, no drama whatsoever.

Until one day, when three little crabs showed up. It’s not that the gallery's tenants didn't like crabs! Not at all! Crabs are adorable little creatures, so shy and full of manners. But these were not regular crabs, these were royalties! What's going on????

These are Prince Clawy and his sisters, Princess Amy and Princess Chrissy....

They were marching all the way from the ocean straight to the gallery...

Crabs never leave their home from the bottom of the ocean... they are too shy... unless something terrible happened or is about to happen... OMG... everybody was shaking... and scared to ask anything...

This is Prince Clawy. He is so handsome and also so powerful. His claws are indestructible. His eyes are red today, he must be angry.

And this is Amy. Her body and claws are made out of amethyst. She is so gracious!

And this is Chrissy. Her body is made out of clear crystal, she looks divine!

Everybody gathered around the crabs. Prince Clawy dressed his voice and announced that a big war had started in the Underwater Kingdom.

Nobody knew the exact reason of the war. But everybody knew that Gaia, the Mother of all Gods was upset. The crabs were very good at spying and they found out of a secret meeting between Gaia and Thor, the God of Thunder.

That didn't look too good... Something is about to happen... Gaia will punish the King of the Ocean... he is not supposed to fight wars...

And all of a sudden, while everybody was listening to the scary news... a strong blow of wind opened the door and all the windows of the gallery. The wind was soooo strong... all art pieces started to fly around... frames fell on the floor... broken glass everywhere...

And then it started to rain... thunders and lightning... Thor was at work...

The wind was making such a terrible noise... nobody could believe that the wind could sound so frightening... A terrible storm was really happening... A storm like nobody experienced before!

In a few minutes the whole gallery was a mess. The wind became stronger and stronger and the roof of the gallery got blown away.

All those little creatures were taken away with the wind and the rain. Swept away to a different place... maybe a different dimension... or maybe back to the underwater world , were they belonged.

I know I will never see them again, but I know that they are happy wherever they are now, because they are free.

Note from author - Spikey Saga (10 episodes) is based on a real life story. It is the story of an art gallery located in St. Thomas, US Virgin Island. The gallery was partially destroyed by hurricanes Irma and Maria in September 2017. The art pieces were lost, but new ones are being made, as I rebuild the collection.

I loved the series @starjewel... You made me laugh and kept me entertained over all these stories. I think you also do wonderful artwork and have the imagination of a child (compliment btw). I am very impressed and I know that you definitely made a wonderful impression on not just me, but on @beeyou @lynncoyle1 and @danielsaori too... I'm sure many more too but I can't remember who was around at that time... We had a blast though, I know that! :D

Thank you @davemccoy. This saga opened new doors for me. Big plans ahead. I met wonderful people here on steemit, you being definitely one of my favorites. 😊

Thanks Dave :)

So glad to hear that things are being rebuilt! Love the story and the photos :)

Awesome @starjewel !! And I see you were put in this edition too :) Congratulations! It's a great place to share your posts as well.

Hey, @starjewel.

I like the idea of telling this saga in a way that also showcases your gallery and its wares. Very well done, and it seems to me that the episodes would make a great storybook for children if you choose to put it together as such.

I'm also sorry to hear about the devastation and loss. It looks like you're coming back from it, so that's good, and hopefully STEEM has been helping out with that in some fashion.

Thank you @glenalbrethsen, I am thinking about the book. And yes, I am coming back from the crisis, little by little. 😊

Well, I wish you well with the recovery and the book if you so choose. You certainly have a lot of creativity going on with the gallery and the saga. If possible, it would be great to share it farther to get it into the wider world.

No pressure, though. Just my very unofficial opinion. :)

Congratulations @starjewel, your post has been selected by the @asapers for a resteem and a feature in our brand new curation post. Issue 88

@asapers Thank you, I am honored! 😊

It's wonderful to see your blog going in full bloom @starjewel! I love the creativeness of it all. The stories & those sweet, well crafted bead, gem, shell and wire made crabs 🦀 Keep doing your thing friend ❤❤❤

Thank you @yogajill, I love this blogging platform. I was confused at the beginning, didn’t know what to write about. It took me a little while to figure out, but now I’m doing much better. I love to share my arts and crafts work and I love fantasy stories. 😊

Cute crabs! Great article in general, but I really do like the crabs.

Thank you @viking-ventures, the crabs are pendants, nested in metal shells, can slide on cords, very cool pieces, sometimes I wonder how I come up with some weird designs like these. 😀 I have a few of them in stock in my online store, saved from hurricanes.

That's just so cool! Inspiration grabs us where it can...

love the story @starjewel.. never thought about a wonderful story about the real life can be written like this, entertaining and full of information too. thanks for sharing and thank you @asapers, really glad to read your curators choice!

Thank you @cicisaja I never thought a real life story can be written like this either. Especially a sad story like mine. But I always look at the bright side, so I guess this is how my inspiration came. 😊

And it works succesfully @starjewel.. let gone be by gone but we can keep it in mind to create a better chances and also inspiring or entertaining others😉 it doesn't have to be ironic story, right? I really like the story flowing clearly and read it till the end... an evidence of how you managed it beautifully.

Hi @starjewel. I LOVE this story. How have I not come across you before?? Now I have to go back and catch up. I am assuming you made everyone you featured. Beautiful craftsmanship

@tryskele, I hope you find the time to read all the episodes, it is a fun story, lots of people loved it and everybody is encouraging me to write an illustrated children’s book. I don’t know if my pictures are good enough, can not re-take them, most of the art pieces are gone. And yes, I made all of them and I am planning to re-make them, one by one, although they can not be perfectly replicated.

I agree this would make a great story. I know Amazon helps with self publishing and I know a couple of authors that have had some success. I don't know how it works though.

Oh, it is easy. I already have 2 ebooks published on Kindle. My problem with this book, as the story is now, is that it's not really a children's book, I have to adjust it :) It SHOULD be a children's book, right?
