Introducing Lucksacks Tokens!
So what's the deal with these new Lucksack Tokens?
They're not really tokens, they are Tickets on our poker server that you would normally receive upon winning a Satellite tourney. When you donate, you get some cool upgrades for your poker account! Freeroll tournaments 5 SBD and above will require a Lucksack Token to enter, and the only way to get them is to Win them in a Satellite or receive them by donating. But now you can avoid playing Satellites to win Tokens, by donating to Lucksacks. :-)
The new Lucksack Token will allow the SPL to grow!
It's all about supporting our community, and the upgrade packages are affordable for all!
You can also get other upgrades such as:
- Chat at Table
- Custom Chat Color
- Animated or Static Avatar
- Custom Title & Location
- Chip Transfers
The choice is yours as to which upgrades you want, there are upgrade packages, and single upgrades too!

When you go to the donate page, you will be directed to Steem Connect to process the transaction. Once completed, you will be re-directed back to Lucksacks to complete the upgrade process, safe and secure.

I think the no chat except for people who donate is going to limit the growth of the community. But hey, I'm not paying for the servers to keep the community in existence!
Anyway, how long do Freeroll Tournament Tickets last? 1 week? Until the Tournament takes place? I ask because I had won the first round of one of the multi-round tournaments, but it seems like my ticket has disappeared?
Also, how long do the lucksacks tokens last before they expire? Do they expire?

Hiya @evolved08gsr :-) The tokens do not expire. If you lost a ticket in the mix, DM Tuck he will get it straightened out for you. As for the chat and etc.. yes servers are not cheap my friend. Plus all the other expenses and etc. Have a great day.
Thanks! I feel like it was a Round 1 20 SBD Satellite FR tricket (for round 2). Maybe I used it and didn't realize.. That has been known to happen. Anyway, I'll check with tuck, unless it's something I can do on the lucksacks site?

I dig it. I think it makes a lot of sense. Not only will it stop all the leeching (and a smaller field in a freeroll will make it easier for those that are donating), but it'll also put a bit of emphasis on people playing well and not just donking around.
Considering that this place is funded by witnesses and contributors like all you fine folks (and not backrolled by a huge organization like PokerStars) -- it makes sense to pitch in for a chance to get some pretty decent payouts in freerolls.
Keep doing what you're doing! I'll have some time to play poker once the sunny weather fucks off.
With the chat, if we make the payment for just the chat is it permanent or is it a monthly thing?
