On the move again!

Taking a night off my steemd search, and setting up this turntable instead, just waiting for the Grado black cartridge to arrive via courier. Yes I am old school and stuck in the 80's, I mean who the bloody hell listens to vinyl in this day and age? ME.

I live on a farm all through spring/summer and autumn, though move to our apartment for winter, as we might get snowed in at the farm, and the road to it is dirt/rubble, and not looked after very well by the council, nor is it gritted when it snows!.

The cost also with regards to heating is all inclusive with any apartment you buy over here. I pay a £90 ground rent per month, and the heating is included and there is no further tax from the government, unlike the UK.

One of the best parts for me at said apartment is I have a totally different hi-fi to listen to, and a change is as good as a rest as they say. This is where you come in, I am looking for some new bands, some fresh new sounds to listen to. I will accept old bands also, if you deem them worthy of a mention/recommendation.
I will buy the album if you recommend a band, submit a track below, and if I like it. As long as they still make it available in vinyl format.

Other parts of this hi-fi are ASW floor standing speakers, front ported, they sound superb in a small to medium sized room, though would be a little lost in a large room. For cd I use a Escient se-160i fireball, just a shame they stopped supporting it online. For amplification we have a dual mono 100 watt per channel old Acoustic Research a-07.

So what have you got for me?

The first 5 songs received, 1 entry per person, gets 1 steem each. That is regardless of if I like them or not, though if I do not, I will be honest enough to say so. If I think a new band is excellent I may well give a bonus steem prize away, IF!.

So what you waiting for, inspire me with your tunes.

My musical tastes vary from blues, to jazz, to pop, to Pink Floyd, and everything in between.

Wishing you a superb weekend ahead. @shepz1 drops mic and out!.

Since I started posting on perceptualflaws Music Monday post I've been replaying all my old vinyl, much of which has been in the attic for years along with the record player. Thought you might like this, having such a finely tuned bullshit detector yourself

and for good measure another of my faves

No steem transfer necessary. You already sent me some last week and I still haven't gotten over it:) Please save for some other more deserving poor. And, a superb weekend ahead to you too.

Oh man, some class tunes there my friend, thank you kindly, and glad you - like me are dusting off the vinyl and getting stuck back in to some wonderful warm sounding vinyl tunes, cd gets a little clinical for my liking most of the time, since it appeared back in the 80's.

Cheers, 1 steem sent. :-)

Thanks, hope you like the song.

Very much so, and surprised I had never heard this before.
I play guitar so like guitar music very much, I play the sax also, hence my taste in music being broad, thanks for the tune, much appreciated.

Considering you said you like blues and Pink Floyd, I think you might like this song if you don't know it:

Or wait... was it supposed to be music I made? Because that I don't think I'd have anything you'd like .ha.

Kickass! Thanks!

All good fun.

Any music, all music, thank you for the tune, I shall pop the headphones on later and listen, after dinner. :-)

Bands eh? Are you looking for specific type of music? I have lots of different bands that put out good stuff! I think maybe Silversun Pickups would sound good on that hardware you've got!

Any specificity of genre? I have a good European metal band that's got some killer drums!

Anything really, just looking to expand my music taste buds so to speak.

Sabaton - Stalingrad

Sevendust - Enemy

Let me think of some others.. I'm into those two songs because they have some killer drums and guitar, not necessarily any lyrics.

Thanks man, 1 steem sent.

Thanks, no worries. I've got loooots of music that I listen to so feel free to look for suggestions!

Superb. :-)

The talented are always welcome :-) I had to download it via the IPFS, and listening as I type, superb thank you. I like to listen to Dance on occasions, Darude Sandstorm and the likes of, I also have a large collection of chillout albums, very similar in texture and sound to your tune. Superb.

Sadly my LInux browser will not support or recognize the format, I shall try later on my spare laptop though, thanks for the music all the same. And the talented home musician is definitely always welcome.

dang, I have a frustrating relationship with linux. although i just use firefox with ubuntu and its usually pretty good. Other things though not so much.

Windows 10 updates at times you really do not need or want them are worth avoiding for me at all cost, so Linux leads the way. :-)

Start off with live in Europe recordnand then onto Irish tour . Here’s a taster.3 great videos
