Aruba a 420 Friendly Vacation Destination
Hey guys, just got back from Aruba, have a lot of interesting content to share, and I'll be doing so in the following days, some great pictures, great videos, great adventures, but the topic I'm sure most of you are wondering about is the weed situation in Aruba.
Many people who go on vacation don't wanna sip on Pina Coladas and alcohol, they prefer to smoke a spliff, nothing wrong with that but not all vacation destinations make that easy. Aruba was actually a pretty decent weed destination.
If you find yourself in Aruba the weed will probably find you, you won't need to find it. It's nothing like Jamaica where every single person you come across is trying to sell you bud, however at the more touristy beaches pretty much every stand offering jetski rentals, paraisaling, beach chair rentals, etc also has weed for sale. Sometimes we'd have to ask them, othertimes when renting a chair or umbrella they'd come right out and ask you.
One funny experience was walking down the road with my buddy, a guy on a beach bike pulls up to an older couple in front of us and asks if they want to come to a time share presentation, they turned him down, he then pulled up to us and asked if we wanted to buy some weed, we must not have looked like the timeshare types.
Quality of weed down there is pretty decent, actually much better than one would expect. It's not brown, it's not brick, it's actually pretty green nuggs with some nice hairs and color to them. I imagine a lot of it is grown on the island as they have the perfect temperature, something like 80-85 degrees year round, not much rain, a ton of sun, and they are outside of the hurricane zone. The taste wasn't bad, wasn't amazing, I think probably has more to do with a shorter curing time than the actually quality of the grow. As for prices, it's a little bit overpriced, but then again so is everything on vacation from food to drinks to souvenirs. I'm sure if you get off the beaten path a bit you can find better prices but for the convenience and having it brought right up to your beach chair it's worth paying a few extra bucks. Prices seemed to be about $30 a gram or 6 for $100
The Real Fun
Okay yeah weed is great and all but fuck you could smoke weed on your couch without ever leaving the house, the real reason you're traveling hundreds or even thousands of miles across the ocean is for everything else this beautiful island has to offer.
Awesome food, great seafood, great latin and hispanic food, great Dutch and European food.
The beaches are absolutely amazing, some of the softest sand and prettiest waters I've ever been to. Lots of variety as well, they have some more touristy beaches with activities, music, bars, and some quieter beaches that are much more secluded. The entire island can be driven around in just a couple hours so renting a car and cruising the island stopping at beautiful isolated beaches is fun. They have a lot of desert to checkout, a national forest kinda deal, a volcano, tons to see.

If you're looking for a vacation destination definitely put Aruba in the running, while it's not Jamaica it's definitely a 420 friendly vacation destination.
