Dragonfly View Behind a Wooden Branch

Hi, good afternoon, CCS friends. Peace be upon you all. I hope you are all well and remain enthusiastic in carrying out your various daily activities during this hot afternoon. Most importantly, stay enthusiastic in carrying out all your activities, and don't forget to remain alert for all dangers in carrying out all your activities on this very good day.

On this occasion, I want to share a post about a dragonfly that I found on a branch growing in my backyard this morning. I saw this dragonfly relaxing, enjoying its rest. Generally, dragonflies are one of the species that love to hang out in woody, twiggy areas, making them a place to relax during the day.

Dragonflies are a species that enjoys young green plants. So, every new leaf growth from a plant becomes their food while foraging. Dragonflies don't eat like grasshoppers, which can devour entire young leaves in an instant. Dragonflies only eat a little and then look for a place to perch, such as a branch, where they can relax.

In my opinion, there are many types of dragonflies in the world, with a variety of colors ranging from green to red to yellow. They share similar characteristics, even though they differ only in skin color. These various dragonflies remain a favorite place for them to perch while relaxing. However, sometimes dragonflies also seek out water to dip their tails in. I don't understand the purpose of dragonflies approaching water like that.
