STEEM ATLAS [23 Feb '25] : Atlas Ambassadors - the first appointments
Thank you to all nineteen people who applied to become Atlas Ambassadors.
There has been a short pause before making the first selections as we wanted to observe how the applicants have been using the site.
We are now very happy to announce the first six Atlas Ambassadors.

The Role of the Atlas Ambassadors
Just as a reminder the role of Atlas Ambassador will include...
promoting Steem Atlas amongst Steemians in your country
helping people in your country with queries about posting on Steem Atlas
checking pin locations of new and old posts
checking old posts in your country for any inappropriate posts.
As Steem Atlas grows, Atlas Ambassadors could also have a role in promoting the project locally to businesses and organisations in their area.
Rewards as an Atlas Ambassador
We are still developing the package for rewarding the Ambassadors but it will likely be a mix of delegations, votes and beneficiaries which will grow as Steem Atlas grows.
There will be a trial period of up to a month for the Ambassadors.
During that time we will be discussing with the Ambassadors the most suitable form of rewards.
It is hoped these six Atlas Ambassadors will be the first of many.
More Ambassadors will be recruited on an ongoing basis particularly from countries so far unrepresented.
We are very excited to be working with our first Atlas Ambassadors.
This represents a major step forward for the site.
