STEEM ATLAS [07 May '25] : The Atlas Challenge #8 - The Winners : 550 STEEM Prize Pool

The Atlas Challenge has its 8th set of winners.

The top ten positions on the Leaderboard at 12noon UTC today are sharing a prize pool of 550 STEEM.

Venezuela has held on to the top spot, along with positions #3, #4 and #9. Indonesia again had a strong showing taking the 2nd, 5th, 6th and 8th slots. Also represented in the Top 10, claiming one slot each, are Spain and Bangladesh.

I am looking forward to seeing more countries breaking through in to the Top 10, and I am also waiting in expectation as more people begin to unravel the Leaderboard algorithm.

The Atlas Ambassador Team are active currently in Week 3 of the Steemit Challenge Season 24, and also operating one of the Community Curator accounts for May. So there are plenty of ways to write and earn on Steem Atlas.

To take part in the Atlas Challenge you just need to post on Steem Atlas.

You can post about any place or location that you have personally visited. You must use your own photographs.

Posts can be about...

• tourist attractions
• holiday destinations
• mountains & lakes
• museums & galleries
• theatres
• sport venues & stadiums
• zoos, animal sanctuaries & wildlife parks
• churches, temples & places of worship
• restaurants, cafes, bars & any type of eating place
• shops & shopping malls
• universities, colleges & schools

In fact any places or locations that you can locate on Steem Atlas.

The Leaderboad rankings are not just calculated on the number of posts.

There is a complex algorithm that uses a whole set of different factors to work out the rankings automatically and dynamically. (Being a Steem Ambassador is NOT one of the factors.)
