My Life in 8 Songs - starting in 30 minutes - with @kryptoe, @ivan.atman & @onemedia

in #mspwaves6 years ago

Starting in 30 minutes another amazing 'Musicians Special' episode of My Life in 8 Songs.

Three more great steem musicians are waiting in the wings to play 8 of their best songs and to talk about those songs and their musical journey.

The guests on this week's show are Deon @kryptoe from the UK, Ivan @ivan.atman from Croatia and Keith 'Zig' Stewart @onemedia from the USA.

The shows airs from 8pm - 11pm UTC on Thursday on MSP Waves Radio.

@kryptoe

Deon @kryptoe joined steemit in January this year. He is based in Warwickshire in the UK.

In his own words...

I am very much the bedroom singer songwriter. Having had a a number of tracks aired on BBC Radio. Some people are born with the performing temperament, I am not one of them. So the internet has been a great revelation in terms of sharing my songs.

I was late to the songwriting party, even though I knew in my bones, for most of my life, that it was something I was aching to do. But as with lots of folk, life took over, that all changed around the turn of the millennium. That’s when my musical story began.

@ivan.atman

Ivan @ivan.atman joined the steem platform last December and is from Split in Croatia.

Ivan describes himself as...

A multi-instrumentalist and a producer who explores the sound throughout the known genres and subgenres.

I'm always eager to learn and to create something new, there is no specific focus in my music, none other than to experiment with the possibilities of sound and diverse emotive settings.

@onemedia

Zig @onemedia joined steem last November. He is based in California, USA.

Keith 'Zig' Stewart played piano since age nine. First exposure to Electronic Music came at age 15 by building a kit synthesizer, the PAiA Gnome. Enjoying Jazz and recording music, he experienced dozens of hours of recording improvisational music. Keith produced Art for War's Sake (vinyl) in 1987 by the band "i.e." on the now defunct label 'Quick Release'. That album featured music created with the 'SIDnth', a synthesizer Keith designed and built.

In the 1990's he produced two solo CD's featuring the music he composed originally on piano between the ages of 17 and 23. Self-Realization, presents Progressive Rock beyond the pure electronic textures of "Art for War's Sake". Meditative Motivative originated in the same era with a somewhat smoother sound.

In 1991 he formed the One Media® label producing two solo CD's, and later added Quick Release into the Artists and Repertoires of One Media®. He appears on all but one of the albums and a few of the videos featured by One Media®
