Resuming our 'A Child,A Million Smiles Project ': Devine Wisdom Schools Benefited

Schools resumed for the third term here in my State residence on the 28th of April 2025. Before that day, a neighbour of mine who I knew only a little happened to join our vehicle on our way home when she saw us. We got into discussions with her and I discovered that she has a school with 2 branches. On further enquiries, I found out that it was one of her schools that we visited weeks back unknown to us. We only met with the head teacher then. I then asked her where the second branch is of which she gave me the location.

Monday when schools resumed, I call her to visit the other branch we haven't visited and she told me she was in the school with the kids. I boarded a bus and then bike to the school. I met her and the headteacher and agreed that they will send message across to the parents so that we will carry out our project on Friday which was yesterday. We took so e pictures there

The lady in the picture is the School Proprietor while the guy is the headteacher. I was so surprised to know that the lady owns these branches of the school. The school is named after her son who is named 'Wisdom'. According to her, she started as an NGO and got some sponsors that has been helping her financially. I am truly impressed with her efforts and achievements.

Alright, that being said, we went into preparations to get the things ready for our visit. I informed my team in our group that we will be going to Devine Wisdom Schools on Friday and I also gave them the description of the location.

On Friday morning after my workout, we got set to move. We had scheduled to be there by 11 am which was also their break period. We picked up @alli001, @kidi40 @chichigirl, @benton3 was already with me as our driver. We branched and bought the noodles because they wanted uncooked food. We then went there, and met with the head teacher and the school Proprietor.

After exchanging pleasantries, the kids were brought out for the event proper. Though the kids weren't complete according to her because she has upto a hundred and 75 kids in the school. We met about 100 of them. We got there when they had already gone back to their classes. The Break was over already. The location is a bit far from our location and we spent a little time on our way.

Well, they had to bring out most of them that were less busy out while others were attended to in their classes.

We introduced ourselves to the kids, took pictures, danced a little and then distributed the noodles to them all.

We danced again, took more pictures before receiving vote of thanks from the pupils and the Proprietor. They were so happy to receive us and they truly cherished little aid they received.

Looking at the kids, most of them have no school uniforms and shoes. Even the school itself is uncompleted building. The parents must have great needs for them to settle for this school though it has it's potentials of growth. Yes, the proprietor already showed me a site where she is planning to relocate all the schools. Sje has plans to turn the school into a technical school where kids will have a lot of skills to learn even before they graduate. Sje really has a big plan in mind and pray for success.

We left afterwards. It was a mission accomplished. We have so many schools yet to visit. This term is usually exams term and soon most schools will be having different activities. We needed to start early and we have just started. Other schools will follow and next week's programme will be on Wednesday. The school is already waiting for us because I already visited them.
