Hello everyone, I bring you this wonderful and amazing idea to spice up our weekends. I have noticed that we chat a lot on our other social media handles and it's becoming interesting how we flow naturally, talking about things that are educative, fascinating and even make us smile and we feel good about them.
Most times we talk about what happens on Steemit here and we all are free to air our views, support other people's views or even counter some views with good reasons.
Sometimes we talk about an individual either to condemn the person's actions or to commend.
We also crack jokes and laugh over them.
We talk about news both crypto and others.
We feel good about them, though some persons are angered. But trust me, the intention is all good 😊.
Can't we talk about those things here? I believe we can. We are free to talk about anyone, anything, any place. No matter who the person is, let's just talk. It's just gist, it's just amebo. No one should be held accountable for gisting here. It's all 4fun.
How it is to be done

When someone is suddenly awakened from sleep, especially against his or her wish, he behaves somehow, sometimes unconsciously and can even walk like zombie. He can hit the wall because of dizziness. This also goes to his or her talks. He talks rashly and unkindly in most cases. Humans do that and animals like cat/kitten, dog and so on, do that too. Have you experienced that before? I have hit my head on a wall before when it happened to me.

It's not always pleasant when you're enjoying your sleep in peace them ,then you're waken up to do something or to eat 😪😪
I can remember when i was still tender I was woken from sleep to come and eat at night before my mom was cooking so I had to go lie down then from lying down I slept off 😂😂😂
So after my mom was done cooking she dished my food and came wake me up to eat ,so I woke up and was confused on what to do then my mom called out to my name again in our dialect saying "Emmanuel dakkada dia mkpo ke ndidia abid" which means "Emmanuel standup and eat food is ready".
I can still remember that the food she prepared that day was okra soup ,so as i stood up from the bed after i heard her voice from my sleep I went to set down close to my food and I washed my hands in the wash hand basin and then started eating so on the process of moulding my balls of Eba I went and put tye balls inside the wash hand basin thinking that's the plate of soup 😂😭💔.
My mom then shouted for me that's how the sleep disappeared and I was so ashamed 😂😂😪.

Omor 😂 e dey happen. I remember one time I was asked to go open the gate for my dad. I woke up and went to the toilet funny enough I sat on the toilet till I was called again. Like what is the connection between opening gate and toilet 🤧🤣. Most times my mom will tell me to do something and I will say okay few minutes later when I'm asked are you done I'll be like done doing what did you ask me to anything.... 😂🤧 And you know watsup with our African parents... They're the best though.

It was so disheartening to watch, I heard the gas vendor has been warned several times, they said there's a welding shop beside his gas station while some said he is a welder too still operating in the same place.
The degree of burn was to high, the Ayo was struggling to live
Actually, I have had similar incidents too. Sometimes even when I go to bed, I think about one thing after another. Even after hours, I can't fall asleep. But when I finally doze off, someone at home calls and interrupts my sleep. 😂

I must say nothing hurts more to disturb someone's sleep no matter what you're waking the person for. At that moment you're on sleepy spirits eeeeh , it's always like you're on top the world and you don't need any disturbances....I've been woken up several times by my mom to do something for her and the annoying part is that whenever am awake from my sleep I can never feel sleepy again 😂😂

Chaii🙆, this gist hit on me kpokim because have been a victim of it many times. Imagine this season(harmattan) when the morning time will make the house to be very cool even without A.C or Fan and your body seems shivering, you open one eye to check around if there's any available wrapper or duvet close by to use and cover yourself so that you can comfortably enjoy your sleep, immediately you did that maybe from your head to the toe and mummy come inside to tell you to wake up and fetch water for her, omg, your life will be miserable in few minutes. Like me, I can go inside to carry bucket for the water many times with a very bitter mind, behaving like a nonotiti, @bossj23, @eveetim and @missyleo how do you think of my behavior if going to fetch the water and it eventually pour on me ontop of the condition I was?
Chai, I can relate to that. It's even worse in the village when you are awaken from sleep early morning to go fetch water from the river. Mehnn, is not funny oooo! I don't know if anyone has had such experience.
What I enjoy doing most of it's in the village is to fry garri. What you start by 2 am at the hit of cold, you will feel really good. But going to the river, hmmm, that one na die. I don't know if @okere-blessing experienced that in the village?
We don't really have river in my village. But I can remember going to Bush to fetch firewood it was so stressful but then we enjoyed it because it's an opportunity to show how hardworking you are ,I will always want to carry plenty firewood.

Have you watched Tom and Jerry?, I don't think there is anyone who hasn't, I remembered the last time Jerry hit Tom's head with a plywood he suffered from amnesia(a temporary loss in memory) and you know what?, he forgot that he was a kitten and struggle to enter Jerry's hole, he even ate what he was suppose not to, answer names he wasn't called by and do you know what will happen if that happens to humans, a temporary loss of memory will never be an exception, that is why most humans act in ways we don't understand, jump into matters they are not called into, it's funny they might answer to any person name🤣🤣, I came in peace

If you would only survive 3 of the attacks that cat has to endure it would be called a miracle. I can't stand Jerry, it's a mean mouse and all Tom does is his job. There are two different homes he has. One with a white boss and the other is black. Not really great pet owners either. They always scream and kick him out only on rare occasions he is allowed to stay inside (if he pretends he caught the flu).
I looked at the possibilities of making Tom and Jerry friends but naah even if Jerry is one his own, Tom always hunt and it very absurd that the predator get outsmarted, the boss are all good pet owner becsuse in the real sense Tom was always left in his mischieves, his huge nature compared to that of the cat will leave him as the home destroy what I mean is glasses will be broken, paws scratches on the wall will make the house feel he is not good for the Job, his Job was to chase anything Jerry but his chase on Jerry was never part of the job because he was always agitated pretending to be sanctimonious, the whole scene is a crazy and hilarious one😂😂. If I was Tom I would pretend to be Jerry's friend to keep peace, but to some extend the pretence would only make him not live out his original self, so it find, I love the scene the way...
It has happened to someone i know online though I've not met him before. The way he act and respond online shows that he's drowned into the well of depression. According to my research, all this act is due to his recent marital status that didn't end well. When he's depressed, he has no option but to come online and disturb people's peace, all with the aim of getting attention and exchanging conversation.
Hmmmmm.....I was once had a kitty/cat that normally behaves that way. When he's depressed due to loneliness, he'll go around the street looking for young and old cats's trouble. You know what i did to stop all those childish behaviour? I bundled my kitty inside a cage, he slept off, and kitty couldn't wakeup again.

Pepper and turmeric are spices, but from my experience, pepper will need much attention and the termite in this part of the city doesn't allow it to stay for long. As they are bearing fruit,they are dying. Why not try cucumber?

Have you guys seen a cat meow unnecessarily before?? It sounds weird right especially in the middle of the night where everyone is asleep and unfortunately you're the only one still awake, ( this the reason i hate cat at first sight.)

Ohkay ma. Your suggestions aren't bad though. Have you ever been pranked on April before? It may look stupid but not as stupid. It's more like an anonymous which I'll soon bring up. We hate people talking at our backs. It would be better if these talks are open and then we form a uniting house and settle whatever differences you may have. I don't really feel it's so stupid. Even kouba01 don't really see it as stupid as much as it won't be that harsh. To me, I see pranks and anonymous messages as a way of bringing people together.....
The way most negative comments people make on other people's posts make the content writer discouraged and feel his content is not that good enough, it gives the poster a chance to improve. It does make him feel the commenter dislike him but it's far from that. That's how I see pranks.
Your comments on my posts usually discourage me, make me stupid and make me feel you're bullying me but I later came to understand that it's not everytime one must tell you a lie by beautifying the comment. It served as a lesson to me sha. So I feel nothing is really wrong with pranks as much as it does really hurt one. Pranks are always entertaining if it's not taken personal.

I can only remember April's Fool was kind of common as I was in primary school. In the Netherlands they started decennia ago already with brainwashing everyone about what is good, wrong. not allowed and although the word discrimination didn't exist back then today everything is (which I don't find okay) and with that entertainment kind of died unless you belong to the group of black humour (we also call it English humour) lovers but by far this is not everyone. At times it feels as if no one ever laughs or sings. So different from my childhood.
I am not that sure if it was a prank or more to make me look like a fool since the white kids I grew up with did look down on me. During a school camp (primary school) and we all should be asleep (tent, sleeping bag, no teacher around) I heard a group of girls (bully Petra) say they would make me tell all my secrets by dripping sugar water on my mouth (no idea who told her that makes people talk).
So the creeps came closer and had a lot of fun about the "ugly kid" they couldn't stand. For sure they thought I had a lot of interesting secrets to share. They hung above me and started with the dripping wire surprised that I didn't talk so the nasty one came closer and I waited...
She kept saying more sugar or sugar water should be poured into my mouth and how ugly I am (her hair looked like hay and for sure she didn't look great and I doubt she looks today) at the moment she tried to pour it into my mouth I slammed her into her face, turned around and pretended I did it in my sleep.
Let's say the rest of the week I could sleep in peace and no longer problems at school. She even once invited me to her birthday mainly to neglect me and who knows out of fear because her mother needed mine.

I must say the older I got the easier it became (who says little children don't bully?). What is weird and ugly as a little child is suddenly pretty and attractive as a teenager. Besides of that I went to school by bike to Rotterdam city (about 1+ hour) and for sure in the city "weird" or different was not such an issue.
Back then children were bullied about everything, so it wasn't only about the colour of the skin. Being too tall, wearing the glasses paid by the state, orange hair you name it. For sure always the same type of children bully but also the same type are the victim. If you accept to be the victim it continues no matter where you are. I hear the most terrible stories happening at workplaces. Strange how adults can be even worst than 6 and 7 year old.
Some tend to bully others non-intentionally, i remember i always wanted to be among other teenage guys in school, always wanted to be included in the football team but they never, once i played and was savaged, i wished i never played because i made many mistake
it was my first time though and the savage made me embarrassed, i felt bullied, so the second time i senior colleague kicked me intentionally on the belly in front of everyone just for standing close to his teammate re-bounce lane, high schools have the worst set of bullies, it unfortunate your teachers didn't keep an eye on things like this... i feared to report anyways especially for boarding but the teacher leaving you behind will mean you a saviour has left you in the hands of wolves

My dear, I think it has to do with the composition of the team you joined, the teams that applied alongside yours, the Steemit team's perception about you and your team at the time of selection, and other factors. But consistency in application, joining different users on different periods. Doing exceptional work on the blog like being visible in terms of publications, comments, support to other users and the like. I don't really understand the criteria but all I know is that with time, you might be a winner. What I mean is that you might be lucky to be selected if you don't give up. But then even if you are not selected, it doesn't necessarily mean that you had done anything bad, it might just be that you weren't lucky. Besides, the number of teams to be selected are limited and those that usually applies are much. Be patient, keep trying your best and keep supporting those that have been selected, someday, yes, someday it might be you. Don't give up easily!
I see people get selected twice in a period of 2 month and I get sad most times, I felt I wasn't mature for this but I have seen new people get in and curate very well keeping to the rules, I pray one day I get a chance to become accepted to be a curator, the application gave a lot of vote but my expectations where more than just the votes..
I would say continue until you're chosen. Consistency is the key and you should apply it with different users from different regions.
