Romans 12:19.Do not take revenge, my brothers, but leave the punishment in the hands of God, because it is written: "Mine is revenge; I will pay », [w] says the Lord

Justice has become a quality of the human being, in which it is decided, supported, judged, parameters of equality for all are established. The human being has the property to use justice as a good for profit, or to fend for himself thanks to it to achieve a common good. Justice is represented as a figure of a blindfolded woman with a scale in one hand and a sword in the other, this representation symbolizes the impartiality of true justice.

What is justice?

he word Justice comes from the Latin justitia which means just. Justice is a concept that began to be used years before Christ, to manifest fairness before a court and an executioner who dictated condemnation, justly or unjustly, thus, the foundations were created for a concept that has been developed and designed to each culture in a different way. In a concrete way, we can assure that justice is a constant and perpetual will to give each one what corresponds to him. This generic idea makes sense in two types of Justice, the first is commutative, which is based on a principle of reciprocity, which requires giving in return, a proportional equivalent, and the distributive, which refers to solidarity and equality among all humans, what is just, what is for all, must be distributed as such to fulfill this principle.ç

Justice is a set of essential values on which a society and the State should be based, these values are respect, equity, equality and freedom.

Justice, in a formal sense, is the set of codified norms applied by judges on which the State provides justice when they are violated, suppressing the action or inaction that generated the affectation of the common good.

Types of justice.

Social justice
Social justice is the balanced distribution of assets within a society. This term emerged in the nineteenth century with the emergence of capitalism, which increased the discontent of the most disadvantaged social classes. That is why, the term social justice has two currents.

Justice as a value
Justice as a value is the moral principle of each individual who decides to live giving each one what belongs to him or belongs to him. Justice is part of social, moral and democratic values, hence its importance derives.

Justice is a virtue that all individuals must put into practice in a coherent way and in search of both their own good and society.

Divine justice

source

Divine justice is that which God accomplishes. For Christians, God is the one who has the power to exercise divine justice through which he can punish or reward human beings according to their merits.

The human being has values and ideas with a universal dimension. In this way, friendship, love, solidarity or justice are common in all cultures, although each cultural tradition provides its own vision and nuances with respect to each of them.
The desire for justice arises from the need to live in a society in which there is a certain harmony, in which there are no situations of abuse and where a balance is imposed. From the desire for justice born the need to create laws, so the human being forms codes and legal standards that serve to restore justice. However, human justice is by definition imperfect, because men sometimes make mistakes when judging, they act with prejudice and their vision of what is just or unjust depends on a social context and the limitations of the laws themselves.

For Christians, divine justice will be effective in the Final Judgment or Universal Judgment, when each man will make accountability to God, in such a way that God will judge each one according to what he has done in his life. The same idea is maintained in Islam, but instead of the Final Judgment the expression Day of Retribution is used.

For the ancient Egyptians there was also an idea of divine justice, because they believed in reincarnation and in the next life the deity known as Maat would be responsible for eradicating evil and imposing good.

In most religions, divine justice is presented as a force that counteracts the weaknesses and inadequacies of human justice. This is what happens with Hinduism, a polytheistic religion but with a key concept, karma. The so-called Law of Karma governs everything that has been created and is the entity or force responsible for establishing true justice.

The justice of God, one of the most remarkable attributes of God in the Scriptures, is also one of the most evasive. To begin with, separating God's righteousness from His holiness or goodness seems to be difficult. In addition, God's righteousness is virtually synonymous with His righteousness.

Righteousness (or justice) is the natural expression of His holiness. If He is infinitely pure, it means that He must oppose all sin and that opposition must be demonstrated in the treatment He gives to His creatures. When we read that God is right or just, we are being assured that His actions towards us are in complete agreement with His holy nature

Isaiah 61: 8
"I, the Lord, love justice, but I hate stealing and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an eternal covenant with them.
