A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words
While cleaning, LINA remembers her bosses, Mrs. and Mr. Miller, two kind and generous people. They had the habit of sitting and observing the water, the surroundings, and especially the church, the place where they got married .
LINA remembers the day she arrived at this house, timidly she approached and knocked on the door, Mrs. Miller asked her how she could help her, LINA looked at her and couldn't stop the tears from blurring her vision, the lady told her to sit down, I'll bring you some tea.
While LINA was having tea she said to the lady, I'm looking for a job, could you help me, I arrived in the city a few days ago and I need to work, Mrs. Miller said to her, I'll give you the opportunity to work, I have a lot to do at home and your help will be very useful.
LINA sobs as she recalls how the couple treated her like family. They spent more than 25 years serving the Millers, who, unable to have children, decided to leave her the house, a generous gesture to which she responds by placing the chairs where they used to sit in life to chat and share the tea she always brought them.
Such a touching story. It reminds me of @olivia08 although she isn't that fortunate. I wonder if Lina has family somewhere. It takes courage to go abroad and knock on doors to find employment. It also takes a lot to let a stranger inside your house, you never know who you meet those days.
Perhaps LINA manages to move Mrs. MILLER, who in turn realizes that she's a good person and gives her a chance.
I'm not a writer, but I do have a very good imagination, something that helps me create stories like this, and I like to imagine and write.
Thank you very much for your support.
I wish you a happy weekend.
You have a good imagination, I like to read that LINA puts the chairs in the same place in gratitude, a nice story, I congratulate you.
Gratitude is something we should all practice, LINA has a beautiful way of giving thanks
