I AM A PART OF VBS 2025

Good day steemians!

Every summer vacation, the church where I formerly attended since birth is having 5 day vacation bible school for kids. It will be participated by kids aged 3 up to 18 years young.

✨ALL ABOUT VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL✨

Vacation Bible School or commonly named as VBS is a faith-based program offered by every Christian churches.

Its main purpose is to teach the kids about Jesus and good values. We will be sharing some bible lessons and let the
Discover its moral lesson. It is as well an opportunity that the church will connect to the community.

As Ive said earlier, it is done every summer and runs for 5 days. Usually, its schedule is 3-4 hours per day. And in our church, we do it every morning from 8 am upto 12 noon. We offer snacks every end of the period.

It has a unique theme every year. And our theme for this year is Galaxy Express where the kids were astronauts. They will be landing 5 location and each location there is a bible story to be discussed by the teacher.

The section has 4 sections:

Beginner - ages 3-6 years old
Primary - 7-9 years old
Intermediate - 10-12 years old
youth - 18 years old onwards

Volunteers and teachers are often older teens and adults.

On saturday morning we had a final rehearsal for their presentation and in the afternoon we prepare there awards and rewards.

And on sunday afternoon we had our Closing Exercises wherein we recognize those students who excell in class and has good morals. We also give all the participants some school supplies for them to use in the opening of the class.

The activity is indeed successful. We had more or less 180 participants and more or less 20 volunteers.

Praise be to God. We were able to help them as the next school year is about to open and at the same time we were able to teach them some good morals.
