The beautiful Belle wasn’t happy that we kept her calf in the barn last night and she wasn’t shy about telling me so. :D

Candy (1) and Princess (2) weren’t happy about Belle and Leroy not being with them last night either, poor girls. :D LOL. :D

Belle decided she a) wouldn’t fit under the electric wire, b) couldn’t jump over the electric wire, and c) needed to find another way to get over to Candy and Princess. :D

Our handsome grand-puppy Tiny (1) keeping an eye on me while his lovely mom Karma (2) keeps her eyes on the cows. :D

The herd figured out a way to get very close to being together. :D Joker (1) and Candy (2) went right to the very edge of their pasture and Belle (3) went as close as she dared (she rolls in her sleep) to the fence on her side and they all settled down for an after breakfast nap together. :D (The rest of the herd joined them (except Leroy who was in the barn), but the pictures were too blurry to share.)

Belle came up to the front yard to graze for a little bit but spent most of her day over by the chicken coop/barn talking to Leroy inside the barn. :D

Moose Rescue 1. This is the young moose my husband @timmyoflinn helped save today. :D The poor thing had been in that cold water for several hours before he was found and couldn’t get out on his own.

Moose Rescue 2. Poor baby was scared and tried to get away from the humans that were trying to help him, exhausting the little bit of energy it had left.

Moose Rescue 3. With the help of a ranger and a couple of other friends, they managed to get a strap around the moose and hooked him up to the rangers’ winch.

Moose Rescue 4. Here he is fresh out of the water, exhausted and shivering, poor boy. My husband told me that it was a collapsed part of an old mine shaft that the moose was in, no wonder the poor thing couldn’t get out.

Moose Rescue 5. The young moose has had his cuts/scrapes (from the walls of the mine shaft or rocks under the water, not sure which) cleaned and the moose has recovered enough to get up and be on its way. :D

The rain clouds are rolling in and stealing our sunshine, NOOOOO!
