I made it!!! Passed all my papers

Phew.. what a journey... it's officially over guys.
I told everyone that I have finally graduated from secondary school..
Yes it's true... I am done with high school and awaiting my entry into the labour world.
But... there are final exams that needs to be taken in my home country before you can certify that you are done with high school.
It is known as the West African examinations... or WAEC
It is a national examination that is taken in Africa that tests the students knowledge on all he or she has learnt throughout his stay in senior secondary.
Basically you're whole stay in highschool is to prepare for this national examination with can actually be tough...
The examinations is divided into three courses.

Sciences, Arts or Commercial...
When you enter the 10th grade.... you do all three courses which you will then select your preferred course In the next grade...
The subject combination depends on what you want to study after school.
Here is the subject combination for the three courses

• English
• Math
• Civic education
• Economics

These ones listed above are the compulsory subjects no matter the course you want to offer .. usually we write 9 subjects in the exam but you can choose to offer other courses just for the knowledge

Sciences	Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Data processing and Agricultural science
Arts	Literature, Government, CRS, Agricultural science... most depends on the school
Commercials	Marketing, Commerce, Accounting, Agricultural science... others also depends on the school...

So my course was Sciences... most people view sciences as the toughest Choice....
I wouldn't say it is the toughest but it is pretty tough.
My biggest problem is Physics... I needed a lot of time to be able to understand it... but the scheme is voluminous and is at times usually rushed.
My best subject was Mathematics... I liked it because.. all you needed was the right formula to any question and you get your answer.... no much notes and I was the best in it.
Actually throughout my highschool I was the best in all my subjects that I offered among my contemporaries.

Apart from the Four compulsory subjects and the science subjects that I offered I also offered Food and Nutrition.
I loved it because I love cooking...., the practicals we had and the rest of them... U'll see a video summarizing most of the practicals...

I also offered further mathematics... actually my school made it compulsory.... I know it is a math course but trust me it was just like physics which i hated to the core.

After the three years of supposed preparation... on May 5th 2025 I was sitting down in the examination hall for my first paper... Data processing.
13 different days after that I was done with all my exams.

My results wasn't out yet when I did my graduation so I was pretty nervous as to whether I was going to get a nice result.

So on Tuesday 12th August, my school called that I should come and get my Waec scratch card which contains the pin and everything I'll use to check my results.
The result is usually posted online and the candidate is given a special and individual card to check his results... The card has a limited number of times to check so usually students just go to a cyber cafe to check and print out the results.

That day I got ready put on a cute pink tank top and black trousers along with a hoodie to match... I was looking pretty cute.
As I got closer to the school I began feeling nervous..
My school is having a summer lesson and a seminar being hosted... so the program was ongoing... My classmates were also there to get the results. It took quite a while before my School Administrator came and gave us the scratch card... I didn't want to check it in school so I decided to check it at home... My phone was low anyways.

When I got to where I charged my phone... I took a deep breath... took out the scratch card and searched for my results.

I was very overjoyed.... I cleared all my papers including English...
You might wonder why I said that... well There seemed to have been a lot if cheating in that paper, a whole lot of people failed it... the score you see there is the highest score administered to any candidate...

I was so excited that I shared it with my Dad and Mom, they gave me a load of congratulations for such an amazing result...This is the stepping stone to any other educational journey I would like to pursue and no doubt... I nailed it!!!
