Fats Domino was one of the pioneers of rock and roll music, his style was based on traditional rhythm and blues, accompanied by saxophones, bass, piano, electric guitar, and drums. "Blueberry Hill" is a popular song published in 1940, best remembered for its version by Fats Domino. After Louis Armstrong's recording in 1949 it was an international hit for Fats Domino in 1956 and has become a rock and roll standard.
