Hi every one, how are you all doing? Hope every thing is fine. As you all who have been following the trend @farms, you might have observed that every topics that has been laid down thias is about birds animals.
Today i will be talking duck.

What is a duck?
Ducks have webbed feet which allows them to paddle and swim in the water more smoothly.When ducks swim, they push out their feet back in a kicking motion.
Duck definition, any of numerous wild or domesticated web-footed swimming birds of the family Anatidae, especially of the genus Anas and allied genera.
duck definition: 1. a bird that lives by water and has webbed feet (feet with skin between the toes), a short neck, and a large beak2. the meat of this bird3.
Duck are part quatic and also they live at land.

Duck are birds that can be trained in any environment.
STEPS ON HOW TO RAISE DUCKS

  1. Plan ahead of time
    Duck eggs takes like 28days to harsh but some of them takes like 35days to harch. Make sure your incubator is prepared ahead of time before you purchase your eggs. Note that duck eggs is larger than chickens eggs. Make sure your incubator can accomondate the eggs.

  2. Let the incubator stabilize before placing the eggs inside.
    The ventilation should be set and make sure that the incubator stabilize for a few day or two before adding the eggs.

  3. Carefully select the eggs in use.
    The eggs must be in good shapes in other to hatch. The eggs should be placed in an incubator one to three days they are layed. Aviod cracked eggs.

  4. Cheak the incubators daily like four times. Always cheak the incubator daily and make sure you monitor it. Your eggs inside the incubators should be monitored and also turned so that the heat can reach all sides of the eggs.

  5. Remove unfit eggs after the first week.
    Eggs with clear shells are unfertile and also eggs with cloudy shells should be removed while others should remain inside the incubator. All those eggs mrensions are all dead insides. They are not valuable any more.

  6. Transfer the eggs into a hatching tray after 25days.
    You can either remove the eggs to another hatching machine or or change the setting of the inccubator to accomondate the eggs as they hatch.

  7. Remove hatch duckling from the hatcher.
    Once up to 90-95 percents of eggs have been hatched, you can remove them from the incubator into the brooder.

    HOW TO CARE FOR DUCKS

  8. Buys few as two duckling. If you dont want to rear ducks you can buy as few as two ducklings. If you get like two to four duckling, you can get experience from rearing them. Them the rest hatch you can sell them.

  9. Deep the beak into a shallow room temperature water. If you you buy a duckling make sure you deep the tip of the beak into a sugar or shallow water to dehydrate them.

  10. Alays provide the duckling with plenty of water

  11. Set up a brooder for your ducklings

  12. Always keep the brooder warm.

  13. Make sure always provide a shelter for you ducklings.

  14. Always feed your duckling with a regular suply of food.

  15. Handle your duckling often

  19. Sell eggs and ducks for money.
