Steem Atlas Post Statistics Using SteemHub
Since the election of Mr. @pennsif as a curator with the steemcurator03 account in February in order to support the Steem Atlas project, the number of Steem Atlas users has continued to increase. The large upvote support has become an attraction that has successfully invited more users to learn how to use Steem Atlas. I see and feel for myself how the enthusiasm for making posts on Steem Atlas has become an increasingly warm trend, based on this I want to make a review to show statistical data that proves the development of Steem Atlas.

In this presentation I will divide the time period in bi-weekly phases, the first phase for the time span of February 1 to February 14, 2025, the second phase for the time span of February 15 to February 28, 2025 and the third phase for the time span of March 1 to March 14, 2025. It will be interesting to see how Posts Distribution Over Time and Top Authors fare in each of these time periods. Let's get started:
First Phase Time Period (February 1-14, 2025)

The total number of posts is 230 posts, I remember very well that in the first week of February not many people used Steem Atlas, maybe because the users (including me) did not really understand how the tool worked and also did not really understand the curation rules, which turned out to be quite a big upvote.

In this initial period, the Top Auhor position was held by fantvwiki, in second place there was willeusz and the third position was filled by walictd, it can be concluded that they were the most active users at the beginning of the special curation of the Steem Atlas project, so of course they deserve a big award for their creativity.
Second Phase Time Period (February 15-28, 2025)

There was an increase in the number of posts in this period to 260 posts, meaning that interest in Steem Atlas grew along with better knowledge from users about how to use Steem Atlas, about what kind of places to review, pinning locations and presenting information about objects.

The consistency of fantvwiki led him to remain in the top position of Top Author, followed by walictd in second place and a significant increase occurred in miftahulrizky who managed to break into third place, a great job guys!. Atlas Ambassadors were also elected during this period, which should boost the popularity of Steem Atlas.
Third Phase Time Period (March 1-14, 2025)

274 posts in this last period of time is proof that more and more users are operating Steem Atlas, this is also influenced by the emergence of contests that are aligned with the purpose of Steem Atlas and the active Atlas Ambassadors promoting the great mapping project, which effectively invites more people to use it.

The Top Author position changes, where miftahulrizky is currently on the top podium, then a new name ikwal enters in second place who has the same number of posts as fantvwiki who is in third place.
Note that the Top Author ranking that I am reviewing here is based on the use of the #steem-atlas hashtag and the quantity of posts, while the quality of posts is not included in my statistical indicators, because I do not have the capacity to thoroughly assess the essence of writing.
The data I showed above I got from SteemHub developed by @kafio, seems like I would love to use this tool again for my advanced analysis later on.
I believe I deserve a 10 for this new knowledge.

That looks great! I noticed the steam decreased the picture quality, so the numbers and text are not showing clearly. I will increase the font size of the text. Also, did you see the new feature, Markdown report? It will make it easier for readers to understand the numbers

You have done a great job and will continue to improve it, I really appreciate your work. If I may make a suggestion, it would be more informative if you are willing to add statistics about the communities where posts are made, of course the function of this tool will be even wider. Thank you my brother, may the blessings continue to be with you.

I believe you deserve a 10 and a star, because you mentioned the information your review is based on.
You forgot to mention the fact that during this period the use of SteemAtlas became more user friendly. It was by far not possible for everyone to join because finding the location was a real pain.
With your review, several questions arose. One of them is how it can be that in such a short time that many entries can be posted. I find it very hard to believe there are that many attractions to review or are the top authors filthy rich and traveling the world
It will be interesting to see how SteemAtlas is doing in 3-6 months and if there's influence because of the ambassadors I never saw showing up or promoting anywhere.
My compliments!
I think quality is separate from richness. That's a very good point you make. Generally, people with money may have these whims of art. We may find some aristocrat with good taste. There may be some more nebulae to be found. It may be that in the infinite lightness of space. The sky will remain gray, and some rich man will become a critic. But a good critic. He is almost never a good artist either. Otherwise, he would not be criticizing, but writing.
Of course, every rule has its exceptions. It overwhelms me to see the search for other things and not the quality of art. At what point, the golden century, did it become this black hole?

I like this remark
The golden century has never been a golden century to everyone. At the same time, an 80 year war was fought and people died of the plague. Those who fight wars and are sick are not interested in art and have nothing to spend if it comes to entertainment. I assume they use the black hole to crawl through to find a solution to survive and get out of their misery, not only alive, but also rich.

Locating objects requires a high degree of focus, which is where the writer's accuracy is tested, and it is one of the Atlas Ambassador's tasks to check the accuracy of the location pins.
I think it's also a secret trick that the top writers you are referring to have a large stock of photos, they travel and then choose interesting spots to document and review them.
And I know that two Atlas Ambassadors from Indonesia are keen to hold contests with a certain theme that is suitable to be posted using Steem Atlas, this is a good method to lure more people to play with the world map.

To lure people to play with the world map or is it: playing with the wordmap to lure people?
I don't believe it should be that way. I have thousands of photos and no way I will use them all to generate SteemAtlas photos with. Besides I did it twice last week and only one showed up although the other has a pin.
But in short: Only one part of the world will be visible on the steem atlas?
Thank you for publishing the Steem Atlas user growth report, Steem Atlas goes to the moon. 🚀
Thank you for these statistics - interesting to read.
You're welcome !!!
I wish the best for Steem Atlas
