After five days in a row with an increasing market the cryptocurrency market is showing a decrease once more today.

In general we can say the market decreased slowly and steady over the whole day with some minor fast ups and downs in between adding up to a decrease of more than $3 billion USD, from more than $270 billion USD total market capitalization 24 hours ago to $267 billion USD total market capitalization at time of writing:

Following this dominance charts for the past several months it seems like Bitcoins dominance grows quite substantially in times the market isn’t doing great. On an increasing market like we see lately Bitcoins dominance seems to decrease while those of altcoins seem to rise.

Worst performing Cryptocurrency in our top 15 chart is Cardano [ADA] decreasing more than 3% today shortly followed by Ethereum Classic [ETC] showing an decrease of nearly 3% today:

Despite the decrease we see on the market today we are able to spot two double digit increases being Bitcoin Diamond [BCD] with an astonishing increase of nearly 53% today and Factom [FCT] increasing more than 12% over the course of the last 24 hours:

Same with our top losers today only two double digit decreases can be spotted in our top 100 chart today being once more Loom Network [LOOM] with an decrease of more than 15% and Mithril [MITH] showing an decrease of more than 12% over the course of the last 24 hours. Sadly we see Steem [STEEM] as our fifth worst performing Cryptocurrency today with an decrease of more than 7%.
