WHAT IS LIFE WITHOUT PEOPLE; ESPECIALLY FRIENDS?
That question has been on my mind for the major part of today. Well something that happened yesterday triggered that question and I taught to share it, maybe someone reading this; well I mean you, yes you; you might be able to get something vital from this lesson.
I woke up yesterday to meet someone's birthday who's a wonderful steemian turned my friend @phunke and I did a birthday post for her, you can see it here.
After I was done with the post, I decided to share it's link to other steemians so they could all wish her a happy Birthday. While I was doing that, I just taught of going through my steemit wallet, and I smiled because of what was there. It wasn't encouraging to me but I was not considering what I was seeing because I believe in miracles. God can change the status of my wallet in a twinkling of an eye from 0.700STEEM to 100000 STEEM. current wallet status;
While all these were going through my mind, I heard a voice say to me "why not send @Phunke a token no matter how little to wish her a happy Birthday?" but I taught to my myself "haven't I done enough by making a post for her?" but the voice kept on repeating same thing. So finally I yielded to it and I sent her a token of 0.100Sbd.
As soon as I did that, automatically I became so excited within me without even knowing why.
Then I went on to whatsapp to chat with friends, while chatting I just told a friend that I was hungry, though I wasn't expecting anything from that particular topic. We got talking and while still talking, I also decided to give out a smaller token to some of the newbies who just joined Steemit through @steemcamp. So I went to the steemcamp group page and made an announcement that "First 2 persons to drop their username will get a little token":
I left the group and came back shortly to find 2 usernames already waiting for me and I told them they were going to get the little token I promised.
But as usual, others came and started pleading to be added but I only asked for 2 usernames. Because of many pleading, I decided to pick one random person which I did and I've sent the little token I promised to them all.
But while this was happening, the friend of mine who I told I was hungry asked for my bank account details and I taught she was trying to pull my legs because I was wondering why she was asking for my account details. She insisted and I sent it to her and what I saw next was an alert from my bank stating that I got credited from this friend of mine. Guess what, she sent me worth much more than I had given out in SBD(with current value of SBD). Though it's not much as some people would say but I appreciated it. Then she told me, use it to eat and I was like #Wow!
This friend of mine is @queen-nehita The Winner of the Miss Steem Nigeria who I only met just met few weeks ago at @steemcamp. We've only spoken a few times and she's a nice person and also has a unique personality. She was really awesome in camp, winning the pool party dance competition and was also crowned Queen.
Well, I kept my promise and I sent the little token as I said I would to the 3 recipient.
SO WHAT MESSAGE AM I TRYING TO PASS ACROSS
It is more profitable to give than to Receive
Give, not because you have too much but give because that is the right thing to do
Keep the right people in your life no matter what
Always listen to your spirit man
Think about what you can do for people without expecting any return
I hope you were able to get something from this article
