[Summary Report] | SLC S24 Week 3 | The Last Photo | Steemit Challenge Season 24
Hello, my dear fellow Steemians,
I welcome you to our third weekly report of the "Steemit Learning Challenge Season 24 Week 3", organized by the Team Wordsmiths. This was the third week of the challenge, and as expected, a few participants made a few mistakes. However, we ignored the entries with few words here or there but the ones that went over 300 or even more received lesser marks.
This week, we received a total of 50 entries, and we consider all of them valid, even if a few strayed from the line but they suffered as they received lower marks for not following the rules, especially for posting in other communities that we marked as NC. Thankfully we received no entry with a high percentage of AI use.

Conclusion
We consider the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 24 Week 3 was a success, and most participants did justice to the prompt provided by our team. I would like to mention here that fiction writing is non-factual texts but it should make sense.
Fictional writing is produced as a story meant to entertain or convey an author's point of view but some of contestants went overboard so what could be a great theme lost midway. Moreover, if you are writing a prompt-based story, few of our contestants gave it a different turn that did not meet our expectations.
We chose fictional story writing as the subject of our challenge, and we are happy that we met this challenge to a great extant. I am here with a hearty thank you to all contributors for their quality stories.
The number of entries shows that the participants displayed their skill in writing in Fiction Niche, and we are hopeful the number of participants will increase in the coming weeks.
Unfortunately one of our teammate sur-riti resigned as he was unable to perform his duty due to sickness yet our team did their best evaluation based on set criteria of content: story setting and word-building, originality, formatting, presentation, uniqueness, and, of course, rule-following. It was not easy, but we selected our top 6 winners purely based on points obtained.

Congratulations to the winners for their efforts, imagination, and story-building ability.

The memory card contained a series of sublime shots, capturing the slanting light of a foggy morning, the blurry flight of a deer, a butterfly frozen in mid-wings and, at the very end, an image so strange, so charged with an almost palpable tension, that those who saw it could not suppress a shudder.
