How are you doing steemians? I hope you are all fine as I am. In this week's contest, I drew a pussy Cat hanging on a barricade, and below is the step-by-step process of my drawing.

Materials for drawing

• Plain white A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• sharpener

Step 1
I began by drawing the head of the cat. I began with the ears, the entire face then the nose and finally the mouth.

Step 2
I drew the top level of a wooden barricade and the fore (front) legs of the cat holding it from the top or hanging to view the other side.

Step 3
I drew the eyes of the cat, its nose and mouth. I also started shading the cat at this step.

Step 4
I shaded the entire face and ear of the cat.

Step 5
I shaded the forelegs of the cat.

Step 6
I demarcated the separate woods that were joined together to form the barricade.

Step 7
I designed the woods and showed the various positions where nails are fixed.

Step 8
I lightly shaded the barricade, the shadow of the cat which was cast on the barricade, and I also drew the cat's whiskers(the long hair on the cat's face). Finally, I wrote my name on the paper.
