The Voice of Steemit[25] Singing Competition - Edition 1 [Blind Auditioning Stage]

Hello guys, I'm writing this post with the intent of letting you know that I'll be extending the deadline for submission of entry for the blind audition stage to favour Steemians from other countries who due to busy schedules and not being able to see the competition in time couldn't participate.

I'd say this is grace period. We have a week until the auditions come to an end and the competition begins. To those yet to do and those wondering how they'll sing when their voice isn't perfect, I have a solution for you. Take it as steemit challenge, a challenge not for the bag but to learn and improve. You'll definitely see the changes before you joined the competition and after.

You don't need to have the sweetest voice to participate. There are a lot of things you'll achieve even though you're not eventually the winner. Below is my aim and vision for this competition.

How will this be possible? This is the breakdown of stages. Starting today, being the 23rd of July, the auditioning stage will be extended. Those who would love to be a part of this competition are to sing a song and drop their entry in the comment section of this post. This serves as registration that you would be with us throughout the journey

These are the stages that would keep this singing competition running. The prizes would be updated as we have more sponsors in the competition.

• Judges would be selected from different countries so we can have a free and fair competition here, as I won't be the only judge.

• We'll have vocal coaches who may be the judges. These vocal coaches will have to train us on how to improve our singing and the like.

• The auditioning Stage is all about singing any type of song you know. Record yourself doing so, and if you're anxious, submit your entry. This is the first stage to know those who'll be part of it. Everyone would be accepted to the judges audition stage, where qualified singers would be given golden tickets, and a few would be disqualified.

• The theatre week is when you'll be given songs to learn and sing in days without using the lyrics to sing. You'll also get paid with vocal coaches you choose for voice enhancements. Your vocal coach will take you up on a series of training through other social media platforms.

• The live performances stage is a stage performance that is mostly accompanied by instrumentals. You'll have to sing with instrumental and also get involved in battles. There'll be some pairing up in this stage.

• Semi Finals is a team of 5 with 2 eliminations.

• Grand Finale is a team of 3 with 2 eliminations and 1 overall winner. Winners would be selected based on voting.

Appeal

To those who would want to be host communities, individual sponsors, judges and vocal coaches, I'm making this appeal for you to be of help and support to us in this. You can indicate in the comment section of this post or in my social media handle. I'll select judges for the competition before July ends. So please, if you want to be a judge in this competition, indicate please. Judges can be from any country

Judges would be taken care of during the period of the competition.

Stage 1

For stage one, you're required to make a video of you singing in any language. You'll introduce yourself first and then kickstart. You're to sing any of your best songs and submit your entry. You can use instruments like guitars but no audio instrumentals. When you're done, you write the following in your post.

• Introduce yourself briefly and drop your social media handle.

• Introduce the song you sang and tell us why you chose the song.

• Why did you join this competition, and what's your view about it?

• Share suggestions for improvement, if any, and ask any questions that bother you.

Rules

• The first picture in your post should be a picture of yourself.

• Post can be made in any community.

• Post must be #steemexclusive.

• The deadline for the auditioning is 31st July, 2025, by 11:59pm UTC...... Extended

• The publication can be in any language.

• Post must be over 300 words.

• Title of the video on your YouTube channel should be My Entry for The Voice of Steemit [25] Blind audition Stage

• Use tags on video such as; #vos-25 #steemit #theblinds #acapella etc...

• Plagiarism and the use of AI are prohibited.

• Upvote and resteem this contest post.

Winners

There'll be 3 winners at the end of the competition and one recognised winner from the 3. This one user would receive the highest prize, while others would be given supplementary prizes. Winners would be selected based on votes from members of the platform.
