Cancellation of Candidation as Steem Representative

Subject: Cancellation of Candidation as Steem Representative
Dear Steemit, Inc.;
Through this letter, I, @aneukpineung78, would like to humbly announce my decision to withdraw from my candidacy as Steem Representative.
I made this decision after considering various personal and professional aspects, and in order to maintain the commitment and quality of contribution that I should be able to make in this role. I feel that the increase in my current workload will prevent me from optimally carrying out my responsibilities as a Steem Representative as expected by the Steem community.
I, even in my capacity as an ordinary blogger, will maintain my commitment to support the Steem ecosystem as a creative environment that values creativity, and continue to nurture positive hopes that Steem continues to develop into a solid creative community, despite all the problems and pros/cons that arise within it.
Thus I respectfully submit this letter of cancellation of my Steem Representative candidacy.
Cc. @steemcurator01, @steemcurator02 (even though I don’t really think talking to you guys means talking to Steemit, Inc., directly). I suggest that a new approach be taken so that the community can easily communicate with the SRs and that the SRs answer any questions related to their positions as SRs and would not easily take offence because after all they have this responsibility to the community and the community has the right to ask questions at any time. Or is it that they don’t bear such responsibility? I have seen some SRs get so intimate with Steemians who like to lick their butts, and ignore -and get offended by- those who come with critical questions. Is this what Steemit Inc wants? After all, it is impossible to prevent people from owning and prioritising their circles, but at least provide strong controls so that the ‘secret society’ that @oneray illustrated in his comment can be minimised and avoided.
Special mention: @weisser-rabe, I know you said no one likes to do it (and now that I am steeping down), maybe you were right, but there are another 58 applicants remain, and I think, out of them, Steemit Inc. (or whoever get to decide) could easily find more than 20 accounts they like for this position. After all -in my case- it is not to like or not to like, but to do it professionally or not. I guess stepping back is the best choice for me now, since I will be busier in the nearest future with my work and private life.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Your one and only orange MOuSE of the House,
@aneukpineung78

What can I say except that it all together makes me sad since you are one of the most dedicated people giving insight in all aspects of what you do Steem(it) related?
I find it good you considered and go for yourself since trust, loyalty, reliability and countability should come from both sides next to the time it consumes.
It feels as if there's a huge lack of manpower, time or interest if it comes to answering, giving updates and fulfilling tasks, no matter which one.
If the fun is gone and only stress and frustration remains and juggling while tiptoeing is the result, it's good to consider what it's worth it (see the Sunday prompt of the freewriters).
If it comes to your last two remarks:
Any numbers yet about the other tasks done by those mention in your post about Steemit Employers?

If you hoydt of kezen da you can read my last post.

If you ask me here lies the problem
No awareness, no we, no idea what is wanted
If "we" love this platform that much even if it's only to farm why is it that "we" doesn't play it smarter to make it stronger? Where will "we" go if there's nothing to get?
I think about this decision. All I see is how little support you have from the community. I think the least that should happen is that you get half a million votes and 5 million comments of support. On the contrary. That you don't give up. You are one of the few who give their all for the platform. I know that for a fact, and from the front row.
Very few people actually take action and help. Those who should are living in their own grandiloquent world. They are bad artists who hate or try to denigrate. They lack talent. The difference between a complete artist is that they create their art out of passion and dedication. Not for money. Or ridiculous fractions of any cryptocurrency. That would be selling your soul. And in no way is that good art. Because art without feelings leads nowhere.
The time I've spent on the platform has helped me understand. Yes, I have the best impression of many whom I respect and admire. You are on that list.
But you can also smell the stench and rot from miles away. The vicious circles. That is not the life we need, not by a long shot.
He who feels happy is deceiving himself, so may karma assist them. It takes simple common sense to see the votes on something that, even if printed in gold, could not have a shred of artistry.
So it's sad. It's a great loss for this platform. I don't see any solutions; the promotion is terrible. Those who should can vote automatically for the same people who are chosen.
I have faith that some of those who should be betting on this platform will stop drinking daiquiris somewhere warm.

Jeje. Como dice la Rana René:
Has dicho una palabra clave: Karma. "El que roba, tarde o temprano, termina robado".
Tengo algunas lecturas pendientes de tus publicaciones. Pero he estado bastante ocupada. Me interesa tu opinión. Un abrazo.
I should mention that I have to write or paint at odd hours. Last night, around 2 a.m., I was finishing a story to enter in your contest. About the painting of death. The power went out and I lost everything I had written.
Today I haven't had time and there's been little electricity. The first thing I read when I got back was aneuk's resignation. So a lot of things are going wrong. By the way, you're on my list.

All those lost stories sound familiar. If you write in Steemit there's a "draft"option. It never worked great for me, a title should be given (the last thing I do) and if course you should hit draft every few...
I also noticed that with me google translate at times remembers the last text I transkated same for wirdcounter.net
Both worth trying out. Place a text. Close down open again (or after shutting down the computer) and see if it's still there.
Telegram is also an option.
If you write offline the computer saves it or?

I don't have much faith in karma nor a punishmemt after death. A fact is that this only works if you believe in it.
Any suggestions how to promote it in countries where are still people who can invest? /And what will be offered in return?
If you promote the platform as the place where you can earn cryptocurrencies, writing any content of poor quality (or farmeando) can enter many users and then leave. I think one of the big failures is that there is no respect for quality work. It can be promoted as an art platform. For artists. (How many artists are there in the world, with interest in promoting their work. Why do I see so few on steemit. More farmers than writers and painters). Many successful sites where you even pay membership. And they are by writers, to cite one example. But more value is placed on the art, the writing, what they do. The quality of the content. What do you think happens when an artist comes in and sees the mess of what is commonly voted on. Demotivation, the real artists are almost all sensitive. They get very frustrated. How many thousands of accounts are abandoned?
And the best thing I've seen is what you do, promote dialogue. Vote for comments of value. They should, always, follow your lead. Contests. Interest. Criticism. Dialogue.
And answer in a clear way the doubts of the communities. I know very successful platforms, which despised the user and today are wandering ghosts.
PS: Clear about what the platform is about. Art. Farming. Social networking. Casino.
I have no idea what the platform syands for. I ask it since years what to promote. I've been asked as a writer, but many who arrived during/after the hardfork spread/heard a different story (dropna few words or picture and you get paid. No one said it had to be original, mentioned plagiarism, AI, and so on.)
If it comes to it it's for investors. The rest is to make it a bit more interesting. It could be more, way more but not if no one cares or wants ro invest in a platform and the future and everyone relies on a few to act and fill all the wallets. Why should those few do that?
♥️🍀
I regret your decision, but of course I understand it. You would have been a wonderfully uncomfortable SR. Maybe... there will be something completely different in the future. You're not out of the running yet, I think ;-))

Well, my friend, I'm really sad that you won't be staying in that group.
I understand your reasons, and if the feeling of being ruled by arbitrary bosses bothers you, follow your common sense and your intuition.
I'll be one of those who miss your statistical analyses.
Still, I'll continue to be one of your fans. 🎉🎉
There was a quote from our kitty friend that made me stop and think. I don't remember exactly, but it confronted me with my dependence on SC votes on Steemit. I still said enough.
P.S.
What plans do you have for the arTeem Community?
If you see anything I can support, I'm at your service.
Staying in what group? There's no answer, no group, no descision made. It feels like a long time ago we applied.
I wonder how you can support everywhere but also if it's healthy for communities to see you everywhere. Do communities still have their own face? I remember Dream Steem in September 2024, Spanish was a huge problem during #wewrite now I see the next Venezuelan community and the specific place for stories and poetry I once promoted seem to be lost. It's a total different community compared with the start of 2024. I find it unhealthy.
Ok, thanks
