GAZA CRISIS: Food and Clothing Banned, Rafah Border Closed, Israeli Reservists Deployed
DAMASCUS, SYRIA (7:00 A.M)- The Israeli Regime tighten their Illegal Blockade of Gaza, stopping the entry of all goods, except medicine, and further restricting Gaza's fisherman. Egypt also close Rafah Crossing.
Yesterday (16th of July), Israel announced the decision to yet again tighten their Illegal Blockade of the Gaza Strip. It is now official, that the Karem Abu Salem Crossing has been completely closed, allowing into Gaza solely medicine. Food, Fuel, Clothing, Babies Milk and other basic items, are all listed as banned and will be prohibited from entering the Gaza Strip.
Israel have also restricted the range that Gaza fisherman can sail, without being killed or arrested. The fishing range, which was declared to be 9 nautical miles a few weeks ago, was just reduced again to 3 nautical miles.
Israeli officials have claimed that the tightening of their illegal blockade, comes in an effort to stop "Hamas terror Kites" from being flown out of Gaza. The recent tightening of the blockade, which took place just last week, did not stop the kites. Human Rights Activists have stated that Israel is not punishing Hamas with its sanctions, but instead has been actively damaging the civilian population of Gaza.
Israel has also called into action an un-known number of reservists, which have been positioned along the boundaries of the Gaza Strip. The stated objective of the troops placement, is that they are there to stop flaming kites/balloons and to help prepare for a possible ground incursion into Gaza if necessary. Israel have also announced the beginning of a training operation, which would prepare for the re-occupation of the Gaza Strip.
The Egyptian Authorities at Rafah Crossing, into Egypt, have also announced the closure of the crossing, starting from Tuesday (Today).
