Review of Jamia Masjid Abu Bakar Siddiq and Adding Pizza Vibes, Police Station and Mosque to Map
Assalamualaikum my fellows I hope you will be fine by the grace of Allah. Today I am going to participate in the steemit challenge season 24 by @mohamadfaisal under the umbrella of steemit team. It is about learning OpenStreetMap and then reviewing one place and add it to Steem Atlas.

I am creating my account at OpenStreetMap to participate in the challenge to add places on the map.
By following the guide given by the teacher I am feeling it easy and I will also share the steps which I followed for all this.

I went to https://www.openstreetmap.org/ and I created my account to become able to use the editing features of the map. I created my account using direct link through Google Account. Account creation process was simple and easy. It required me to add a username as my identity to edit the map. I set my username as akmalshakir just like my steem username.

After setting up my account now I am ready to add places on the map.
Add one shop or business on the OpenStreetMap.
I will add pizza vibe a fast food shop on the map.

Currently there is no any pizza vibe location on the openstreetmap. But I will add it on the map to make it easily accessible through Steem Atlas.

I selected point tool. I found the exact location of the place by finding it from the google as it is already registered on google. I clicked on the location and a pointer has been added on the map as you can see.

These are all the details which I added for this pizza shop. I added total of 8 tags for the shop.

After reviewing the changes I added the place to map. This is the link to my first change set where I have added Pizza vibes on the map. https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/166594523#map=19/30.614367/73.765475

Add one cultural / religious / educational place on the OpenStreetMap.
I will add central mosque of my area on the map which is the reflection of the religious, cultural, and educational activities.

I have tried to highlight the place with a small circle on the map where the mosque is present on the map.

I have used point tool to add the mosque on the map. Firstly I have tagged it as the place of worship and later on I have tagged it as Muslim Mosque.

These are all the details which I have added for the mosque. I have added the type of mosque and the complete name. I added the majority of people here. I included some facilities such as internet and wheelchairs in the mosque.

After reviewing all the changes I have updated the location of the mosque on the on the map. And after updating the location it looks like this as shown in the above picture.
This is the change set link for this mosque: https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/166595576.

Add one item of your choice on the OpenStreetMap
In this task I will add the most important place for any area which must be on the map. This is police station of my area. This is situated on the roadside of Depalpur Road.

This is the place where the police station is situated on the map but it is not listed yet on the openstreetmap.

To add this whole building as an area I am using Area tool. I have selected the building boundary by using different points and it has formed a rectangle like shape.

I have selected the type of place as police and an icon of the police has added to the police station building.

These are all the details about the police station Chorasta Mian Khan which I am aware. I added the type of the place, the name, street and city of the police station. I have added postal code of the nearest city. AT the end I have added opening hours of the police station.

Police station has added successfully to the map and it is looking like this. Before saving I reviewed all the details and changes of the police station. This is the appearance of the police station on the map. This is the change set link of this place: https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/166597233#map=19/30.622750/73.749144.

Reviewing Jamia Masjid Abu Bakar Siddiq
This mosque is situated near the road side and easily accessible to everyone. It is an old mosque which is serving as a place of worship for the Muslims from the last many decades. In my childhood I learnt Quran and other Islamic teachings from this mosque. This serves as a central mosque for the shopkeepers as well as it is in the market area.

This is the entrance of the mosque. Do not be worried the entrance is small as it is a porch which leads to the mosque and from outside this is the small way to enter the mosque. There is a small steel made decorative dome like structure with the symbol of the mosque on the entrance. The door is also made up of steel metal. It looks beautiful.

This is the ablution area of the mosque. It has several taps connected with a main metal pipe in which water comes from the big water tank which is placed at the rooftop of the mosque. IN between the taps there is a reasonable distance so that a person can sit easily with the other person and perform ablution. For the ease of the people while taking ablution there are small seats. These are made up of wood. On the front wall there are some soap holders in which soap is placed. In the ceiling of the ablution area there is a fan which is very helpful in the summer season.

Near the ablution area there is a geyser. It was installed to get warm water in the winter season. It is an electric geyser. It is connected with the ablution water pipe so that the warm water in the winters can go directly towards the ablution taps for the comfort of the people. Then there are washrooms in the corner. Their cleanliness is maintained by a person on a daily basis. Washrooms are free to use for the people who come to offer prayer. But if anyone who does not offer prayer and just come to use washroom then a small amount is charged like 20 PKR and that money is taken by the sweeper of the washrooms.

This is the internal area of the mosque. This is not much spacious but it is very beautiful and neat and clean. The internal environment is very peaceful and lovely. On the walls there are beautifully written verses and other precious and Holy words. There is the use of the marble tiles on the walls of the mosque for the decoration. There are beautiful sketches of Makkah and Madinah on the front wall. People come to offer prayer and to recite Holy Quran in the mosque.

This is the special place where the Imam stands and people follow him to offer their prayers. There is a specific clean which is specified for the Imam. He preaches Islam by sitting in this place. On the Friday and on other days where Khutba is required then a wooden member is placed in this place and the Imam sits on the member and conveys Khutba and the teachings of Islam.

On the front wall there is a digital clock which tells the times of the prayers. There are the time for the 5 prayers and for the Jumma prayer. There is a section which activates when there are only 10 minutes in the start of the prayer or 10 minutes in the expiration of the time of the current prayer. It displays the time, day, date, and special events. It is adjustable and it is controlled with the help of the remote to set the changes in the time duration of the prayers.

At the bottom of the mosque or on the floor there is a comfortable carpet to offer prayer. This is a green colour carpet with the design in the shape of a prayer carpet. The design pattern is repetitive one after the other. At the inside of this green carpet there is a foam carpet which makes seating and standing comfortable.

There are some chairs in the mosque which is are used by the old and weak people. The If anyone who is disable and cannot stand to offer prayer then he can use the chair. These are the plastic chairs which were funded by the people.

Mosque has two air conditioned. This air conditioned visible in this picture is on the left side wall which works for the front part. It works very well and keep the environment cool. On the upper wall ending there are the sacred names. Right below the air conditioned there is a shelf in the wall. This is used to keep Holy Qurans and other Holy books. There are also some wooden stands in the shelf which are used to hold holy books.

The mosque has two lass doors to enter within the prayer area. One is a main and big glass door and the other is the small glass door. At the back wall where the doors are there is a 2nd air conditioned of the mosque. It also works fine it makes the back area of the prayer room cool and comfort able in the summer season. Because of these ACs in the mosque the internal environment is very comfortable. When I was taking picture the light turned off.

The mosque has a beautiful ceiling of white colour. This beautiful ceiling was not installed from the initial days but it was installed around 15 years ago and I still remember about its construction which took many days. The workers did work keenly. The ceiling has beautiful designs carved with the flower patterns. It has ceiling fans. Currently there was only two or 3 people on one side so that side fan was running and the other fans were not running. In the whole ceiling there are different lights which helps to illuminate the internal of the room.

There are different holy Qurans in the mosque from small size fonts to bigger size fonts. People can choose any font size Quran according to their ease of reading holy Quran. I kept holy Quran on the wooden holder and read the normal font size Quran. It was new and easy to read.

It is a triple story mosque and it is the 1st floor of the mosque. This is wide and long and it has covered all the area. The 1st floor walls are not decorated yet but with a grey structure but it also has all the facilities to offer prayers. It has big shelf for the holy Qurans. It has many fans in its ceiling but its ceiling is also simple. It has lights as well. It is used wen the ground floor is completed and full with the people then people come upstairs and use this area to offer prayer. It has an old version big clock. The big water tank is also in this 1st floor.

The mosque has a small donation. This donation box is kept outside the mosque near the entrance of the mosque. It is a metal box and people donate wholeheartedly for the mosque. This donated money is used to bear the expenses of the mosque and to pay the salary of the Imam. Moreover donation is also collected from the shops of the market on a monthly basis.
This mosque serves as a place to offer prayers 5 times a day and people can offer other prayers as well according to their dedication. In the morning the Imam of the mosque teaches the children about the Islamic teachings. So the children come to the mosque on a daily basis to learn the teachings of Islam.
